6. INDEPENDENT SENIORS• COHOUSING SOLUTIONS

10 acres are being developed as CoHousing by residents of Langley on Whidbey Island in Washington Sound. 16 houses of no more than 975 sq. ft. will be built. The property owner will sell the lots and the purchasers will build their own home in accordance with Langley code and the community CCRs. Each lot purchase will include a 1/16 share in the remaining land (10 acres minus 16 lots) via membership in a Homeowners Association which will hold the deed to the common land and buildings (includes a commons house, misc storage sheds, shared property such as tools and golf carts, and possibly intern/retreat cabins).
