We are a Cape Town based organization that offers individuals exciting and extensive opportunities in student exchange, language school , travel, internship and volunteer work. At Southern Ambition, we provide a unique African experience, facilitate cultural exchange, and engage our volunteers in constructive, efficient ways.

Our mission is to enhance participants' academic and social skill sets, nurture the development of their intercultural skills, and supply them with the necessary tools to participate in today's global village.

Southern Ambition offers unique, worthwhile volunteer projects and incredible adventure travel experiences throughout Africa. Milner Houses

We offer space in historic, well-kept Victorian houses i n bustling, eccentric Observatory. Our tenants are mainly young people from all over the world.

Rooms are private or shared between two people with both single and double beds available – ask for the combination that suits you! Each room comes with a lock and luggage storage/ closet space available. The houses each have a yard and porch perfect for having a braai (local slang for BBQ!) or enjoying the street view, plus plenty of c o m m u n a l s p a c e f o r hanging out with the other tenants.

Located in Observatory, a suburb just seven kilometers away from the city center. Because of its positioning between the University of C a p e T o w n a n d t h e city,Observatory, or “Obs” as the locals call it, attracts many students. As a result of its relatively high student population,Obs hosts a v ibrant enterta inment scene with numerous bars, restaurants, and thrift shops lining the street of Lower Main.
