This evening, relax and prepare for your safari from the coast all the way to Lake Tanganyika.Day 2 • To Selous Game ReserveAfter breakfast, set off to the airport to board your light aircraft en route to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Selous GameReserve, the largest on the continent. The populations of wild dog, hippo and lion are unsurpassed in Africa, and it is likelythat more than half of Tanzania's elephants are found in this expansive reserve. 3 Nights (B, L, D)Day 3 - 4 • Selous Game ReserveDiscover the vast wonders of the Selous by vehicle and on foot during two full days in the reserve. Sheltered in a grove ofpalms on the shores of Lake Nzerakera, part of the watery byways of the Rufiji River system, your camp is perfectly locatedto take in the wildlife while sipping sundowners or dining on a boat out on the lake. After getting settled, begin your explorations of this pristine wilderness this afternoon.Day 6 - 7 • Ruaha National ParkSpend two full days exploring the park on game drives and guided walks. Seek out great herds of buffalo as well as giraffe,hippo, crocodile, and lion. Track the large populations of endangered wild dog, and perhaps set out on foot to seeevidence of the elephants digging wells in the dry river beds. Lion and hyena stake out the flood plains where numerousspecies come to drink. Marvel at thousands of crocodile and hippo, as well as herds of majestic elephant. Day 1 • Arrive Dar-es-SalaamUpon arrival this evening, you will be welcomed by your local representative and accompanied to your hotel, which

overlooks the Indian Ocean. This evening, relax and prepare for your safari from the coast all the way to Lake Tanganyika.

Day 2 • To Selous Game ReserveAfter breakfast, set off to the airport to board your light aircraft en route to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Selous Game Reserve, the largest on the continent. The populations of wild dog, hippo and lion are unsurpassed in Africa, and it is likely that more than half of Tanzania's elephants are found in this expansive reserve. 3 Nights (B, L, D)

Day 3 - 4 • Selous Game ReserveDiscover the vast wonders of the Selous by vehicle and on foot during two full days in the reserve. Sheltered in a grove of palms on the shores of Lake Nzerakera, part of the watery byways of the Rufiji River system, your camp is perfectly located to take in the wildlife while sipping sundowners or dining on a boat out on the lake.
