CONEG-Regulation and EU Directive 94/62/EC We hereby certify, that in compliance to the CONEG-Regulation as well as to the EU Directive 94/62/EC “Packaging and Packaging Waste”, Article 11 the total concentration of the heavy metals Lead, Cadmium, Mercury and Chromium-VI in the above mentioned products do not exceed 100 ppm by weight (100 mg / kg polymer). This certificate implies constitutionally caused concentration of heavy metals as well as ubiquitous traces. Ozone depleting substances; German regulation of the ban of halones Herewith we confirm that above mentioned products by constitution do not contain ozone depleting substances: none of the substances listed in Annex 1 of the EU-Ordinance 2000/2037/EC on ozone depleting substances are contained in the a.m. products. In addition, the a.m. products are in accordance with the German FCKW-Halon-Verbots- Verordnung (German regulation of the ban of halones) of May 6th, 1991 including its amendment of October 29th, 2001. Asbestoes compounds Asbestoes and other fibers which are able to pass into the lungs are not used in the above mentioned products. Azo dyes We hereby confirm that the above mentioned product does not contain Azo dyes with carcinogenic amine compounds. BADGE, NOGE We also confirm that bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BADGE) and Novolac glycidyl ether (NOGE) are not used to manufacture above listed products. Phenol derivates are included in the above mentioned products like in almost all plastic materials as antioxidants.

Formaldehyde Polyacetals can release Formaldehyde when manufactured. Please keep in line with the applicable occupational health and safety requirements. Usually our products are in compliance with EU Migration-Limit (EU 10/2011) for food contact applications and with VDA 275 test (emissions in cars). However, both tests have to be conducted at the end product. The presence of ubiquitous traces of undesired substances cannot be totally excluded. Ticona GmbH, Product Safety.
