2. Widely used and discussed of the “Strait of Hormuz” which is located between Iran, Oman, and United Arab Emirates (UAE)

3. Suez Channel—Its recent widening project which costs $4 billion 4. Panama Channel—Its recent widening project which costs $8 billion 5. Dardanelle Strait in Istanbul, Turkey; which connects the Black Sea

to the Mediterranean Sea6. Bosporus Strait in Istanbul, Turkey which connects the Black Sea

In November 1944, Senator William Fulbright was elected to the U.S. Senate and served there from 1945 through 1974, becoming one of the most influential and best-known members of the Senate. In 1949, Senator Fulbright became a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. From 1959 to 1974 he served as chairman of the committee. -
