Overall Conditions This show is run under the rules and regulations of the Royal Agricultural Society and Equestrian Sports NZ. GENERAL CONDITIONS - PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY. THIS SHOW IS RUN UNDER THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE RAS AND ESNZ. Entries to be submitted on the Horowhenua AP & I entry form provided in the Schedule · Entries on ESNZ forms will be accepted but must be accompanied by a signed Horowhenua AP & I Assn form · Entries close with the Secretary on Monday 11th January 2021 · Late entries may be accepted but incur a 50% late EF and may not be included in the Catalogue · Access to the Grounds is through the Tiro Tiro Road North gate - back of Showgrounds · Horse accommodation is available at the grounds. · Stalls will be allocated and you will be advised of your box/covered stall number - please keep your requests for covered accommodation to a minimum. NO LOOSE BOXES OR COVERED STALLS WILL BE ALLOCATED TO PONIES. · Loose Boxes & Covered Stalls - $15.00 per night · Uncovered Yards - $15.00 for entire Show. · Ground Levy - $10.00 per horse/pony. First Aid Levy $10.00 · Horse Parking is limited - please indicate whether you have a float or truck on entry form. If a truck please indicate size. Your parking area will be advised with Show tickets and is also displayed on signboard as you enter the Tiro Tiro Road North gate · If less than 5 entries for a class, the Horowhenua AP&I Assn has the right to combine or cancel classes, notice will be given prior to the show · Riders of all flat class horses/ponies WILL be required to produce a RAS height certificate to the Stewards · Competitors entering Low Hunter cannot ride the same horse in HOYQ registered classes. · PM will be paid out at the Show. · The Stewards retain the right to change the order of, alter or delete classes’ dependant on entries. · * One competitor pass & 1 vehicle pass will be issued to each competitor. No tickets are required for Thursday or Friday competitions as these are not Public Show Days Any additional tickets must be purchases on Main Events REFUND RULES 70% of EFs will be refunded if the scratching is accompanied by a Vet/Doctors certificate. All other refunds are 50% - minimum refund $30. Refunds will be mailed to competitors after the Show on request. Catalogues can be pre-ordered on entry form - $6.00 per copy

1. ESNZ JUMPING & SH DISCIPLINE LEVY: $5 per equine for both days of the show. This is COMPULSORY
2. ESNZ JUMPING AND CASUAL LEVIES:
$5 ESNZ Jumping Levy (Compulsory) – payable by all horses/ponies competing in Jumping and or Showhunter.
$20 Casual Jumping Levy
The rider must be a full member with ESNZ. Horse/Pony not registered for ESNZ J/SH can compete using this levy.
The levy is $20 for the show.
Can jump up to 1.00 on a pony and up to 1.10 on a horse. Cannot compete in series classes and will not be eligible for HOY points in
SH.
Riders may compete in Introductory class (80cm and under for ponies and 90cm and under for Horses) on an Introductory
Membership or Casual Membership Day Start. All other riders must be full members with ESNZ – results will not be recorded with
ESNZ for Introductory Classes.
Shows may choose to run registered classes at introductory heights where the rider must be a full ESNZ member and the horse may
compete with a current Jumping/Show Hunter discipline start or on a Casual Jumping Levy – results for these classes will be recorded
on ESNZ records where applicable.

ALL COMPETITORS ENTER THE GROUNDS AT OWN RISK.
All riders, including harness drivers with the exclusion of heavy horse (Clydesdale) working classes, competing at RAS affiliated A&P
Shows/Events must wear protective headgear, which includes a retaining harness secured to the shell at more than two points. Such
headgear must be worn with the chinstrap properly adjusted and fastened when in the arena or ring, the practice area, collecting rings
or anywhere else within a Showgrounds. Hats/helmets must conform to the current approved safety standards and must be red
tagged. No red tag – no entry to the ring. These standards may be subject to change, but the latest list can be found at
www.ras.org.nz under the equestrian tab.

ESNZ Classes SHOW HUNTERS Thursday, 21st January 2021 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY For registered classes all horse/ponies must be registered with ESNZ Open classes are open to any horse regardless of experience Junior & Amateur - refer to Rules of ESNZ All classes Horse of the Year Qualifying Classes ESNZ Under 12 Equitation – rider must be 12 years and under for the entire season Under the new Showhunter rules, ponies may enter any height class, except in the High Points Class where Pony heights apply. Flexi start riders cannot compete in HP or Equitation Series classes. They may compete in any other classes but DO NOT get points awarded for Horse of the Year. All advertised prize money will be paid out to all eligible competitors after which a ratio of 1:7 Anyone using Showhunter Jumps outside of designated times will be disqualified from Showhunter Competitions. Showhunter ring is located at the North end of the Oval. This ring will not have a lunchbreak EIT Classes Category A - ponies up to and including 133cms Category B - ponies up to & including 143cms Category C - ponies over 143cms up to and including 148cms PREBBLE EQUESTRIAN QUALIFIER FOR POINTS AWARDED IN THE THREE PONY HIGH POINTS CLASSES AND THE JUNIOR/AM HIGH POINTS – This Competition will end at this show following being run over Central Districts - Wellington Show Jumping, Feilding A & P. The winner will receive a rug and the first four place getters will receive a Rosette.

Livamol RAS Thoroughbred Series Class Please note this is a restricted breed class and does not count as a win for Novice Horses. To Follow Hack Classes, Hack Ring North Oval Placings 1st to 4th will accumulate points that will result in an overall series winner. Judging criteria will be 80% Conformation, 20% Manners & Paces. Judges will assess each horse individually with saddles removed after they have been assessed ridden. Horses to show true Thoroughbred qualities; all paces including a good walk, as well as a gallop (space permitting). This class is part of an overall series and points are accumulated by the horse on the 1-4th placings. Features will be held at the NZ Royal A&P Show and HOY however normal points will apply for the series. The series will finish at HOY and a prize giving will be held at the completion of the RAS Livamol class at HOY. For those shows that run after 2020 HOY – points will be taken through to the 2021 HOY prize giving. Overall winner will receive – Trophy, V Sash & Livamol product.
