A number of our PA Alliance people have served on short-term missions teams in Mexico City in

the last few years, and had the privilege of meeting an amazing lady named Rosilia.

Twenty-eight years ago, after coming out of prison where she met Jesus, she started El

Recobro (The Recovery). Now when you visit the women’s home, you’ll see 171 women meeting

Jesus through prayer, worship, service, friendship, and the list goes on.

Heather Hahn De Cabezas, our international

worker in Mexico, wrote recently to say that last March Rosilia was diagnosed with aggressive cancer. “When we ask how to pray for her she says, ‘Don’t ask God for anything. Just thank

Him! He’s been so good to me!’ ”

Heather writes, “Today we ask you to join us. Let’s thank God together with Rosilia. We also

believe that Jesus is Healer, so join us in praying for His perfect will in her life, too.”
