Bristol Pioneers

The Bristol Pioneers are individuals whose generosity sets a standard to which others may aspire, and whose support enables the University to transform itself. We are very grateful to the followingindividuals who are recognised as Pioneers for the 2005/06 year:

During 2005/06, over £3.9 million was raised in gifts and pledges from individuals, companies andcharitable trusts. This inspiring total demonstrates how much Bristol alumni and friends care about thefuture of the University. We value this support enormously as it enables us to drive research faster and toprovide the best facilities for our students and academics.

The Annual Fund had another record-breaking year, raising over £511,000, and our sights are now set onthe University’s Centenary in 2009 and a Centenary Campaign that will raise funds to ensure theUniversity enters its second century stronger and more successful than ever before – focusing on its corevalues of learning, discovery and enterprise.
