Honor KillingIn Book O, whose subject is Justice, we find a little gem hidden away. Liars tell us that honoricide is strictly cultural, not Islamic. Islamic law exposes them. I have included an extensive quote for context, highlighting the most significatn clauses.

I will now exhibit to you the scriptural basis for the Islamic law of honoricide. See also Sahih Bukhari 6.60.249.

18:74. Then they both proceeded, till they met a boy, he (Khidr) killed him. Msa (Moses) said: "Have you killed an innocent person who had killed none? Verily, you have committed a thing "Nukra" (a great Munkar - prohibited, evil, dreadful thing)!"

18:75. (Khidr) said: "Did I not tell you that you can have no patience with me?"

18:76. [Msa (Moses)] said: "If I ask you anything after this, keep me not in your company, you have received an excuse from me."

18:77. Then they both proceeded, till, when they came to the people of a town, they asked them for food, but they refused to entertain them. Then they found therein a wall about to collapse and he (Khidr) set it up straight. [Msa (Moses)] said: If you had wished, surely, you could have taken wages for it!"

18:78. (Khidr) said: "This is the parting between me and you, I will tell you the interpretation of (those) things over which you were unable to hold patience.

18:79. "As for the ship, it belonged to Maskn (poor people) working in the sea. So I wished to make a defective damage in it, as there was a king after them who seized every ship by force.

18:80. "And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared lest he should oppress them by rebellion and disbelief.

18:81. "So we intended that their Lord should change him for them for one better in righteousness and near to mercy.

The following are not subject to retaliation:

-1- a child or insane person, under any circumstances (O: whether Muslim or non-Muslim.

The ruling for a person intermitently insane is that he is considered as a sane person when in his right mind, and as if someone continously insane when in an interval of insanity. If someone

against whom retaliation is obligatory subsequently becomes insane, the full penalty is nevertheless exacted. A homicide committed by someone who is drunk is (A: considered the same as that of a sane person,) like his pronouncing divorce (dis: n1.2) );

-2- a Muslim for killing a non-Muslim;

-3- a Jewish or Christian subject of the Islamic state for killing an apostate from Islam (O: because a subject of the state is under its protection, while killing an apostate from Islam is without consequences);

-4- a father or mother (or their fathers of mothers) fir killing their offspring, or offspring's offspring;

-5- nor is retaliation permissible to a descendant for (A: his ancestor's) killing someone whose death would otherwise entitle the descendant to retaliate, such as when his father kills his mother.

Take a long second look at the fourth item in the list. Your father can off you without retaliation!!
