The Akrapovic EVOLUTION system for the CRF 450X is designed for MX and Enduro riders who know how to get the most out of the performance charac-teristics of the system. The system comes with a noise damper for the EU and other markets, and an approved spark arrester for the US market.

PERFORMANCE

Measurements of the Akrapovic EVOLUTION system on the HONDA CRF 450 X:

Power & Torque: the increases in the power and torque curves are substantial, and extend over nearly the entire rpm range. This much power and torque will be a major advantage in mastering the terrain no matter where you ride.

CONFIGURATION

The Akrapovic EVOLUTION system for the 450X is composed of a conical titanium header tube connected to a conical titanium link pipe via a sleeve joint. The joint is secured with a silicon-shielded spring. The link pipe is welded to the muffler. The muf-fler is made entirely of titanium (inlet and outlet cap and inner perforation). The muffler is available with a titanium outer sleeve and comes with a noise damper for the EU and other markets, and an approved spark arrester for the US market. The muffler is attached to the bike with a carbon-fiber Offroad clamp. The system is also available with an Akrapovic carbon-fiber heat shield, which is attached to the header tube.
