A Message from our Director of Athletics
On behalf of the Sweet Home Board of Education, Mr. Anthony Day,
Superintendent of Schools, Mrs. Joleen Reinholz, our school Principal and
the High School Administration, I would like to welcome you to tonight’s
Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Tonight we induct the nineteenth class of athletes in the Sweet Home Hall
of Fame and it brings us together to reflect on the outstanding
accomplishments of six of our former athletes. The Athletes who stand
before us tonight are first class examples of the athletic excellence that
Sweet Home is so very proud of. They have set the standards for others
to follow. Hard work, dedication, commitment and loyalty are just a few
of the many characteristics that these athletes possess and have passed
on to the others over the years. In many ways you can say that Sweet
Home Athletics have been shaped by the contributions that these
athletes have made. I personally believe that it is a combination of both,
and what an amazing combination it is. We should never forget that our
Athletics program is only as good as the people associated with it. With
that being said, it is no secret why this particular athletic program has
been so successful over the years and continues to be one of the elite
programs in the area.
I am delighted each of you has chosen to spend the evening with us and
share in this very special occasion. I have again had the privilege of
learning more about the great history of Sweet Home athletics as well as
the opportunity to meet some wonderful people who have had such a
tremendous impact on the Sweet Home athletic program.
Thank you for being here and please enjoy this special evening.
Chris DeMarco
