Introduction
Our staff have prepared some set work in both paper and electronic form for you to
complete. This Home Learning Pack is to ensure that you minimise the disruption to your
learning.
Your lessons will continue at the normal timetables time for the remainder of the term.

You have been provided with a Revision Pack for Paper 1 and Paper 2, as well as a QR sheet containing links to English Language Revision videos.
In each Revision pack you will see how to complete an examination question and there will be space to write your own response.
Use the student examples to mark and self-assess your work.
Each week complete 1 Past Paper Question (Your teacher will let you know which one to complete) The Mark Schemes will be sent by the teacher at the end of that lesson. Self-assess and send your mark back in.

You should have all taken your book home. In which case you need to check you have done the following: Stuck in your mind map, stuck in your title page.
Finish your mind map with key terms, mini drawings, ideas, artists you could use, themes you could focus on and a main mind map title
Your title page needs to be finished with a main title of whatever theme you have chosen and imagery on the page that links with your selected theme
Now you need to start your first initial drawing- You have all had your images printed off that you have taken. You need to look at the Power point provided and see the layouts of the page. Do you want it in the centre with smaller drawings around the edge, do you want several images layered, what background is it going to have, then finally title it with ‘Initial 1 Drawing’. This page needs to be in pencil, and you need to have more than one drawing on there. You could have a main A4 one in the middle then several coming off the page around it. The images need to link with your chosen theme and be primary images
You can graphite the images across of free hand draw it- use a pencil to graphite as this is the same thing as we use just on a smaller scale!
Once you have completed this you need to annotate the page. Using the attached annotation slips as prompts of what sentences you need. You need to annotate your initial one page. Do not write on the page itself but on the back or on another piece tied in.
Remember when you are drawing realistically- you need your image in front of you, see what are the darkest areas and what are the lightest, everything else needs a mid-tone. Press down hard for the darker areas, then lift your hand up and lighten the pressure for the mid tone, then add white areas/highlights with a rubber. No big black outlines but soft blended shading instead.
I will be asking for you to send images of your progress to that I can email back any feedback/help.
No one should get to this extension- except one or two students who have already done the above. You now do the save as above, but do it on a different media e.g fine liner, biro, colouring pencil, oil pastel, charcoal and chalk etc. That is up to you. Again you need to consider the background, title, layout and images used.
