It is always fantastic to see ex-students still striving for
their best. We were lucky to have Chris Mann visit this
week. He gave the music department an electric guitar he
had refurbished using Canadian oak. As part of the
REDI.E program he turned a guitar that did not work into a
fully functioning guitar that sounded awesome when the
students plugged it into an amp in the music room. Chris
then jumped on the drums and accompanied Jayden as he
played.
It was also thrilling to see 2015 School Captain Callum Sinclair perform on ‘Australia’s got Talent’ on
Sunday night. He was dancing with a group that were successful in progressing to the semi-finals. It just
shows Cobar kids can achieve anything they put their minds to.
