Personal examination, prior to participation, is encour- aged by the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 11:28), and might include these questions: Am I a sinner? Am I sorry for my sins? HOLY COMMUNION The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at Holy Cross in the con-fident, joyful confession that it is the true body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ under the bread and wine, insti-tuted by Christ Himself for us Christians to eat and to drink (Matthew 26:26-29). Personal examination, prior to participation, is encour-aged by the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 11:28), and might include these questions:

) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

PRAYER IS AVAILABLE AFTER ALL SERVICES!!

There are people available after all services to pray with you. LOCATIONS: On Saturday you will find a person with a red “Prayer” nametag in the area near the entrance to the Worship Center. After Sunday services look for someone with a red “Prayer” nametag standing near the baptismal font This person would be happy to listen to your request and pray with you. What kinds of things might you pray about? How about an upcoming job interview, test or change in circum-stances? How about an opportunity to share the Gospel with a neighbor? There are many topics that you can bring to God in prayer! “Pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and won-derful results.” (James 5:16b) ACKNOWLEDGMENTS –The order of service for Saturday and Sunday is from Creative Worship for the Lutheran Parish.
