Love to deck the halls with old-fashioned incandescent lights?Don’t worry: Holiday lights are ex-empt from the new energy-savingstandards for light bulbs that willtake effect next year. From outdooricicle lights hanging from eaves tostrands of twinkle lights wrappedaround a Christmas tree, lightsused for holiday decorating areconsidered “specialty bulbs” andaren’t affected by the standardsbeing phased in starting in Janu-

ary. That was welcome news toholiday light fanatic Chuck Taylor,who said the standards created astir in the online forum he runs atPlanetchristmas.com. “This was avery popular subject last year,”said Taylor, a holiday light consult-ant in Franklin, Tenn.

Many Christmas lights alreadyare more energy-efficient than theold-fashioned incandescents.

“To be honest, the little niche ofthe Christmas light industry al-ready has been fast moving towardLEDs,” said Garth Svenson, presi-dent of the Christmas Dove in Bar-

rington, N.H. The store is thelargest of its kind in New England,with more than 30 rooms full ofChristmas decorations and lights.

Some fans of traditional lightscomplain that the more energy-ef-ficient LED lights don’t producethe same colorful halo effect asolder bulbs. Strands of LEDs alsoare more expensive than incandes-cents, though the LEDs are muchcheaper to run and are often moredurable. Specialty bulbs help light up the holidaysthey don’t specifically ban tradi-tional incandescents, they requirebulbs to have a higher level of effi-ciency than the classics can pro-duce. Joseph Higbee, a spokesmanfor the National Electrical Manu-facturers Association, said thereare new halogen incandescentbulbs that meet the standards, andconsumers have a choice amongthose, compact fluorescent andthe light-emitting diode, or LED,bulbs, he said.

LED holiday lights have been

around for years, and sales haveincreased as new varieties — in-cluding some that attempt tomimic the warmer glow of incan-descent lights — hit store shelves.The Home Depot, which startedselling LED lights in 2006, soldenough strands last year to circlethe globe 1.5 times.

Locally, at the Lowe’s store locat-ed in White Township, more cus-tomers seem to be purchasing theLED lights over regular lights thisyear than what they have over afive-year period, according to

Kristy Patz, outside lawn and gar-den department manager.

“If you have that kind of money,that’s the way to go,” Patz said.

She also said the lights are alsokid-friendly, because they are coolto the touch. Also a popular itemthis year at Lowe’s are lightsshaped like icicles “that actuallylook like they are dripping, espe-cially the clear ones,” she said.

In Claremont, N.H., BrianMitchell was busy last week settingup the 45,000-light display he putsup in his yard every year. He spent

about $1,200 on LED lights thisyear, not because he was worriedthe old lights would disappearfrom store shelves but because hewants to keep up with the latest inlighting technology. Mitchell,whose obsession started with dec-orating every room in his housewith paper chains when he was akid, set up his first outdoor displayabout 20 years ago with one plasticSanta and a single string of lights.

Today, his small yard is coveredwith snowmen, toy soldiers, aminiature carousel and other

scenery, all adorned with lightsprogrammed to flash and blink insynch to holiday music. It takeshim about 10 hours to programeach minute of the 7-minute showhe runs every 15 minutes nightlyfrom Nov. 25 until Christmas.

“Seeing how much the peopleenjoy it drives me to get it doneevery year,” said Mitchell, a grocerwho donates the money he col-lects from his holiday light show toa children’s hospital.

DAYTON, Ohio — Despite a holiday sea-son dampened by a struggling economy andhigh unemployment rates, shoppers willfind much to be jolly about in the ways re-tailers will actively court them this year.

Savvy spenders in 2011 can expect extend-ed store hours, free shipping offers, reason-able layaway programs and revved-up on-line shopping sites.

There is good cause for retailers to spicethings up for value-conscious shoppers.

Although holiday retail sales for 2011 areexpected to increase 2.8 percent to $465.6billion, according to the National Retail Fed-eration, that growth is lower than the 5.2percent increase retailers experienced lastyear.

Online retailers are prepping by optimiz-ing their sites, beginning their marketingand promotions early, and planning plentyof free shipping promotions as they aim toprovide value and convenience for theirshoppers, according to Fiona Swerdlow of

Shop.org. “Online retailers willalso leverage their social media

and mobile platforms forsavvy shoppers on the go,knowing how important

In the meantime, other retailers are wait-ing to announce their plans.

LAY IT AWAYLayaway plans have re-emerged from the

shopping days of yore as consumers work toeliminate credit card debt.

This year, the Sears layaway program al-lows customers to pay as little as $20 or 20percent down (whichever is greater) andmake online or in-store payments every twoweeks before claiming their goods. Searscharges $5 to initiate a layaway contract and$15 for cancellation.

In the Kmart in-store and online layawayprogram, shoppers are required to pay $5 tostart a layaway contract, make a down pay-ment of $15 or 10 percent (whichever is

NEW YORK — To the uninitiat-ed, buying gifts for kids can feellike a treasure hunt without a mapthrough store aisles and websitespacked for the holidays. But suss-ing out clues may not be as diffi-cult as it looks.

Has the young recipient ever of-fered you one of his homemadecupcakes? Have you seen her teararound on a little ride-on bike? Isthe living room often strewn withbuilding bricks or stacking blocks?

Casual buyers looking for pres-ents for children they don’t knowwell need only focus on generalinterests. Mom and dad will likelytake on the “it” gift of the season,or farm it out to grandma, leavinglots of room for other shoppers,whether the giftee is a builder,baker or bookish.

If that sounds too complicated,reach for the classics — in books,apparel or toys, said Rachel Jarrett,general manager of the children’sdepartment for the sale site GiltGroupe. A sweater with room forsize variation, or mittens or hats,for example. Try toys in wood, in-cluding eco-friendly bamboo.

“We do incredibly well withwooden toys,” Jarrett said.

Anne Keane, fashion director forLucky magazine, suggests keepingit simple. “Generally, staying withmoderately classic, small gifts isthe easiest route to take for all agegroups,” she said. “Especially ifyou don’t know the kids that well.”

The handcraft site Etsy.com hasunique felt toys, Keane said. AndPlan Toys makes a fun wood-and-canvas shopping cart on three

wheels for toddlers.Don’t be afraid to think outside

the box, Jarrett urged. Wall decormay not feel terribly gifty, butWallcandyarts.com has chalk-board decals in the shapes of ele-phants, apples and circles thatwould please lots of kids. Roomorganizers that play into a favoritetheme can also be fun.

And there’s nothing wrong withasking your giftee’s parents for asuggestion.

“I think parents do appreciate itwhen you ask what might make anice gift,” Jarrett said. “They wantto make sure you’re not gettingsomething that maybe somebodyelse is also getting. It’s a lot to re-turn a toy.”

1. Hold one flower and add TulipBeads in a Bottle Paint to eachpetal. To do this, hold the bottleupside down and gently squeezeuntil a small drop releases. Keepthe drops evenly spaced. You maywant to practice on a spare pieceof cloth before working on theflower. As far as color, you canchoose if you want all gold or allred Tulip Beads in a Bottle Paint ora combination of both.

2. When applying the dots, startby applying beads to the centerarea of the flower, then set it asideto dry, and repeat on the nextflower. Once all the centers are dry,you can hold on to them in orderto apply Tulip Beads in a BottlePaint to the outside areas of eachflower.

There’s nothing quite like a win-ter walk through snowy woods.This holiday season, trend watch-ers are encouraging us to bringsome of those evocative, forestyelements home to decorate ouroutdoor and indoor spaces.

It’s a look that’s soothing andseasonal, and easy to attain with-out spending tons of money.

Simple and natural are where it’sat this year; spiked, if you wish,with a bit of bling or a festive bow.You can buy or scrounge yourgreenery locally, and add a fewfound or inexpensive elements.

Even a traditional cedar, pine orboxwood wreath can be given acontemporary tweak if you dis-pense with the usual embellish-

ments. There’s something elegantabout a spare, unadorned circle ofgreen. Add a few small apples, or-anges, pomegranates or pepper-berries for a natural color touch.Wrap or bow-tie the wreath withburlap for a rustic vibe, or use vel-vet ribbon in an unexpected huelike persimmon, purple or mus-tard.

Wreaths made completely out ofcushion moss look striking, as dothose made of bay, sage or magno-lia leaves. Freeze-dried fruit orflowers can look beautiful foryears; just keep wreaths made ofthese delicate materials out of di-rect weather.

Coastal Living magazine sug-gests tying shells and starfish towreaths and garlands — great forseaside holiday homes. The designteam at Country Living magazinefills a flat-sided fisherman’s basketwith greens and berries to hang onthe door. And Executive EditorShelley Ridenour says that whilewhite pine and fir are traditional,“we love the chic, free-spiritedlook of boxwood. Eucalyptusleaves look fantastic with bluespruce when twisted into a garlandor wreath. The key is to keep it sim-ple, so the beauty of the greeneryisn’t overwhelmed.”

Sunset magazine’s website offersinstructions for creating a fragrantsnowflake using fir boughs and flo-ral wire.

Swags are easy; ramp up theglamour by tying a handful ofboughs together with wire andadding creamy ribbon, clusters ofglitter-dusted cones or stars.

And garlands add a pretty frameto doors and a lush, finished lookto porch rails and fences. Fragrantcedar and long needled pine areattractively shaggy; boxwood andshort-needled evergreens workwell for a formal front entrance.Mini lights look great in either, asdo simple silver, ruby or sapphireornaments; keep the frippery likeribbons and bows to a minimumfor a clean, contemporary look.

If you’re lucky enough to have abig front stoop, fill urns with firboughs, eucalyptus, ilex berriesand branches — birch, dogwoodand even salvaged twigs fromaround your neighborhood giveheight and texture to a pot. Addsome spray-painted white ones forcontrast.

Pair with copper mer-cury glass or bisque candle hold-ers, some polished pebbles or atwist of shell pink ribbon andyou’ve got an elegant holiday man-telpiece.

Whether you’re going with abundle of bare branches in a prettypot or a full-size evergreen as yourholiday tree, think about decorat-ing it with simple snowflakes madeof different materials, such aslaser-cut wood or felt. HOLIDAY GLAZED HAM Serves 10 to 121/3 cup reduced fat raspberry

vinaigrette salad dressing1 cup firmly packed dark brown

sugar2 teaspoons Better Than

Bouillon vegetable base 2 teaspoons Better Than

Bouillon chili base 1 7 to 10-pound thawed,

smoked, bone-in, spiral sliced,fully cooked ham

½ cup water Preheat oven to 350°F. In large saucepan over medium-

low heat, whisk to combine vinai-grette, brown sugar, vegetable andchili bases. Whisk continuouslyuntil glaze begins to boil. Removefrom heat; reheat glaze if needed.

Coat large rack and roasting panwith cooking spray. Place ham onprepared rack in roasting pan, addwater to pan bottom. Generouslybrush ham with glaze. Lightlycover ham with foil if ham starts toover brown. Bake until done, about2 hours.

Use remaining glaze to basteham every 30 minutes; discard leftover glaze.

An additional glaze recipe maybe prepared and served warm ta-bleside, to accompany sliced ham.

SAUTÉED GREEN BEANS Serves 6 to 82 tablespoons vegetable oil2 tablespoons Better Than

Bouillon chili base2 large garlic cloves, peeled and

minced2 tablespoons butter1 ½ pounds frozen whole green

beans ½ teaspoon kosher salt Parmesan cheese, for garnish

(optional)Heat oil in a large skillet, heat

over medium-high heat. Add chilibase, garlic and salt; cook and stirfor about 1 minute.

Reduce heat to medium, addbutter and stir until melted. Addgreen beans, stir to coat and sautéuntil crisp-tender.

Before serving, garnish withfreshly shaved Parmesan cheese.

DELICIOUS TWICE-BAKED POTATOES

Serves 6 to 86 medium russet potatoes

(about 2 pounds)2 teaspoons vegetable oil (for

potato skins) 2 teaspoons Better Than

Bouillon ham base¼ cup (4 tablespoons) butter

cut into pieces, set aside1½ cups shredded Colby-Jack

cheese1 green onion rinsed and thinly

sliced, set aside ¼ cup whole milk

1 tablespoon dried parsley¼ teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon black pepper1/3 cup pre-grated Parmesan

cheese Spray 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish

with cooking spray, set aside.Scrub and pat dry potatoes;

prick potatoes with fork 2 to 3times per side. Lightly oil skinswith vegetable oil; place potatoeson a microwave safe dish. Mi-crowave according to microwavedirections. Remove hot potatoesfrom microwave when done, setaside for 5 minutes to cool.

Cut potatoes in half lengthwisewith a serrated knife. Fold a sheetof paper towel to hold hot potatohalf, use a spoon to scoop out po-tato flesh into a large mixing bowl,leaving about a ¼-inch-thick shell.Place skins in prepared dish, setaside.

Add ham base and butter to mix-ing bowl with potatoes; beat withelectric mixer on medium forabout 1 minute. Add cheese,onion, milk, parsley, garlic powderand pepper; beat just until blend-ed. Be careful not to over-beat po-tatoes.

Evenly spoon potato mixtureinto skins; shake pre-gratedParmesan cheese over tops.

Warm potatoes in microwave orplace in a 350°F oven and heatthrough. To brown tops, placewarmed potatoes under broiler for2 to 3 minutes.

Twice baked potatoes can bemade a day ahead. Stuff the pota-toes, then cover and refrigeratethem; then, on serving day, warmas instructed above.

CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP Serves 6¼ cup butter1 16-ounce package button

mushrooms, rinsed, stemstrimmed and sliced

½ cup chopped yellow onion (1small onion)

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour1 teaspoon dried tarragon¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg¼ teaspoon garlic powder½ teaspoon white pepper2 teaspoons Better Than

Bouillon organic mushroom base1 tablespoon Better Than

Bouillon organic chicken base4 cups water2 cups heavy creamSalt and pepper to tasteIn soup pot, melt butter over

medium-high heat.Add mushrooms and onion;

cook and stir until liquid evapo-

rates, about 15 to 20 minutes. Add flour, dry seasonings, mush-

room and chicken bases; stir tocombine.

Add water and bring to boil. Re-duce heat to medium-low andsimmer uncovered for 15 minutes,stirring occasionally.

Remove soup from heat andpuree with a hand held immersionblender, or in batches in theblender.

Return blended soup to medi-um-low heat and add cream. Cookand stir until soup is thoroughlyheated, about 5 to 8 minutes. Sea-son to taste with salt and pepper.

TUSCAN ROAST TURKEYServes 161 16-pound young turkeyKosher salt, to taste1 cup Tuscan Herb Paste1 teaspoon fennel seeds,

crushed2 teaspoons celery salt3 fennel stalks with fronds,

rough chopped3 onions, large dice1 stalk celery, small dice2¼ quarts chicken stock, divid-

ed3 ounces all-purpose flourRemove giblets from turkey’s

cavity, rinse cavity and pat dry, setaside. Season turkey inside andout with kosher salt.

Mix Tuscan Herb Paste withcrushed fennel seeds and celerysalt. Starting at the neck of thebird, slip your hand between themeat and the skin to loosen.

Rub half the paste mix underskin, and rub remaining paste in-side the cavity and over the rest ofthe turkey.

Place two-thirds of the choppedonion and fennel stalks inside cav-ity. Truss bird.

Place turkey in a roasting pan.Roast at 400°F for 30 minutes.

Reduce temperature to 325°Fand continue cooking the turkeyto an internal temperature of160°F, approximately 2½ to 3hours. Baste turkey often duringcooking with juices from pan. Ifturkey begins to get too brown,cover it loosely with aluminumfoil.

As turkey roasts, simmer giblets(neck, heart and gizzard), the otherone-third of the fennel stalk, onionmix and diced celery in 1 quartchicken stock until tender, approx-imately 1½ hours.

When turkey is done, removefrom roasting pan and set aside torest. Degrease roasting pan, re-serving 3 ounces of fat to make aroux.

Deglaze pan with a smallamount of chicken stock. Transferstock to a saucepot, and add re-maining stock and broth fromgiblets. Bring to a simmer and de-grease.

Make a blond roux with reservedfat and flour. Add roux to the liq-uid, whisking well to preventlumps.

Simmer 15 minutes. Strain gravythrough a fine-meshed strainer.Adjust seasoning.

TUSCAN HERB PASTEYield: 2¼ cups1 tablespoon fresh basil2 tablespoons fresh rosemary½ packed cup fresh Italian pars-

ley1 tablespoon fresh thyme2 tablespoons fresh sage½ teaspoon crushed red pepper¾ cup extra light in taste olive

oil1 cup Carapelli Premium 100

Blend herbs and crushed redpepper with light olive oil using ablender or food processor, thenstir in extra virgin olive oil.

Simply swag the garland up andaround your banister, securing itwith florist wire or pretty holidayribbon.

I like the garland on my banisterto look random and loose andhaphazard, tucked up at irregularintervals, which makes it eveneasier to put up.

One of my favorite holiday looksis to loosely twist some pine gar-land through the arms of thechandeliers in my study, diningroom and kitchen.

It’s simple to do but looks soelaborate that people will thinkyou decorated for hours.

Loop the garland around thechain of the chandelier, thentread it in and out a few of thelight fixture’s arms.

I like to leave a bit of garland

hanging down from the fixture,too. Stop there or embellish thelight fixture with some holidayribbon or ornaments.

You can dangle ornaments orlittle hanging votive cups from thechandelier’s arms using fishingwire if you want an extra-specialdisplay.

Buy a pre-made swag or, ifyou’re feeling crafty, make yourown.

Then hang it on an interior orexterior door. It’s just a little touchof Christmas, but it adds lots ofcheer.

You could also hang a swag overa mirror or a piece of artworkusing a door hook meant to holdwreaths.

I like to use statement-piecevases in my year-round decorat-ing so I can change them out for

each season. Statuesque glass vases, for ex-

ample, are long on drama but takejust seconds to decorate. Insertsome fallen branches and somegreenery picks that feature pinecones and faux frost. Who knewthat creating a head-turning dis-play could be so easy?

If you have great pottery vasesand urns, turn them into vases forgreenery bouquets this holidayseason.

Start with a fallen branch fromyour yard, then fill in with an as-sortment of picks.

Keep it natural — or, if you wantsome glitz and glam, tuck in picksthat feature pearl drops, sequinsor glitter.

When we decorated my diningroom for my fall open house, wedecided to dress up the windows

a bit. We hung a series of wreathsfrom holiday ribbon. They lookedsensational. Five minutes —done!

Do you like to keep beautifulcandlesticks on your dining-roomtable or buffet year-round? Givethem a simple holiday makeover.Just secure some greens to thecenter of the candlestick usingflorist wire.

BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITHCARAMELIZED ONIONS ANDPROSCIUTTO

Serves 122 pounds fresh Brussels

sprouts, blanched, quartered4 tablespoons extra virgin olive

oil1 onion, julienned1½ ounces prosciutto, sliced

into ½-inch strips4 tablespoons white balsamic

vinegarSea saltFresh cracked black pepperTrim stem end of Brussels

sprouts. Discard wilted outsideleaves. Boil in salted water untilcooked through (about 7 minutes)and just tender. Shock in ice water.Quarter the cooled sprouts.

In large skillet over medium-high heat, caramelize onions inolive oil for 15 to 20 minutes, stir-ring frequently. Remove from pan.Place in bowl, mix with prosciutto.

In the same skillet, over highheat, lightly brown Brusselssprouts. Add onion-prosciuttomix, toss.

Deglaze by adding white balsam-ic vinegar and scraping bottom ofpan. Season with salt and pepper.

OLIVE OIL AND HERB MASHED POTATOES

Serves 1210 8-ounce potatoes, (about 5

pounds) peeled and cut in half3/8 teaspoon white pepper1½ tablespoons kosher salt½ cup Tuscan Herb paste½ cup extra virgin olive oil1 cup heavy cream, warmedBoil potatoes in salted water.

When cooked tender, mash pota-toes. Mix salt and pepper with Tus-can Herb Paste, olive oil and warmheavy cream. Fold into potatoes.

thawed according to package directions

cheese

1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk

1/3 cup powdered sugar¼ teaspoon vanilla extract1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips

or miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips

Whipped toppingHeat oven to 350°F. Brush pie

shell very lightly with water; gener-ously sprinkle with cinnamonsugar.

Stir ricotta cheese, sweetenedcondensed milk, powdered sugarand vanilla in medium bowl untilblended. Stir in chocolate chips.Pour into pie crust.

Bake 45 to 50 minutes or untilcrust is golden brown. Filling willappear slightly soft. Cool com-pletely on wire rack. Chill at least 2hours before serving.

HOLIDAY PRETZEL WREATH1 package (about 6 ounces) of

your favorite chocolate (milk,dark, or white)

1 bag (9 or 10 ounces) of Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels(mini’s, thins, or homestyle)

Red and green candies (chocolate shell candies, jellybeans, sugar sprinkles)

1 package of red shoestringlicorice

Wax paperLine a cookie sheet with wax

paper. Melt chocolate in mi-crowave or double boiler; stir.Using tongs or a fork, dip the pret-zels into the chocolate and layer ina circle, like a wreath, onto the waxpaper.

After the wreath(s) are formed,use the red and green candies tosprinkle or place on top of thewreath(s).

When you have completed thewreath(s), cool until set. Once thechocolate has set, use the shoe-string licorice to tie into a bow, atthe top of the wreath.

PEANUT BUTTER PRETZELCHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIES

Ingredients:1 cup butter, softened1 cup peanut butter1 cup sugar1 cup brown sugar1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract2 eggs3 cups flour1 teaspoon baking powder1 teaspoon baking soda1¾ cups crushed mini pretzels 1 (11.5 ounce) bag semi-sweet

chocolate chunk morsels or chipsPreheat oven to 350 degrees

Fahrenheit. Beat butter, peanut butter and

sugars until creamed. Add vanillaand eggs and mix well.

Add flour, baking powder andbaking soda and mix. Finally, addcrushed pretzel pieces and choco-late chunks, mix until combined.Using a small cookie scoop, placecookie dough on ungreased cookie

sheets, making sure they are 2inches apart from each other. Bakefor eight to 10 minutes. Cool on awire rack and store in an airtightcontainer.

FRUIT TART WITH PRETZEL CRUST

Crust:3 cups finely crushed Snyder’s

of Hanover Pretzels 2/3 cup sugar 1¼ cups cold butter or mar-

garineTopping:

1 (14 ounce) can of sweetenedcondensed milk

¼ cup lime juice 1 tablespoon lime zest

1½ cups whipped topping 7 cups assorted fresh fruit,

slicedIn a large bowl, mix crushed

pretzels and sugar. Cut in butteruntil mixture resembles coarsecrumbs.

Press into a 9-by-9 brownie panor small casserole dish. Bake at 375for 10 minutes or until set. Cool atroom temperature and then refrig-erate for 45 minutes. Meanwhile,combine milk, lime juice and limezest. Fold in whipped topping.Spread on cold “pizza.”

Top with fruits. Keep refrigerat-ed. The invitations are coming, butnow you’re prepared.

Spiced Sour Cream1 cup sour cream1 tablespoon sugar½ teaspoon vanilla extract¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon¼ teaspoon ground gingerCoconut Caramel Sauce2 tablespoons unsalted butter½ cup firmly packed light

brown sugar1 cup unsweetened coconut

milk½ cup sweetened coconut

flakes, toastedHeat oven to 325°F. Coat 13 x 9-

inch baking dish with no-stickcooking spray.

To make Bread Pudding: Com-bine bread cubes, mango and ba-nanas in large bowl. Whisk togeth-er eggs, sweetened condensedmilk, mango nectar, milk, butter,vanilla, cinnamon, salt and nut-meg in medium bowl. Pour overbread mixture, stirring until thor-oughly moistened. Let stand 30minutes. Pour into prepared bak-ing dish. Bake 55 to 60 minutes oruntil set in center. Cool slightly inpan on wire rack.

To make Spiced Sour Cream: Stirsour cream, sugar, vanilla, cinna-mon and ginger until blended.

To make Coconut CaramelSauce: Cook butter and sugar insmall saucepan over medium-lowheat 5 minutes, stirring frequently.Whisk in coconut milk. Bring to aboil over medium-high heat. Re-duce heat to medium-low andsimmer 15 to 20 minutes or untilslightly thickened. Remove fromheat. Cover and keep warm.

To Toast Coconut: Spread co-conut on a microwave-safe plate.Microwave on high 2 to 4 minutesor until lightly toasted, tossing thecoconut with a fork after eachminute. To avoid overbrowning,remove from plate immediately.

To serve: Spoon Bread Puddinginto shallow serving bowls. Drizzlewith Coconut Caramel Sauce. Topwith a dollop of Spiced SourCream. Sprinkle with coconut.Serve immediately.

ice cream cones¾ cup white baking chips½ cup well-drained chopped

maraschino cherriesLine an 8-inch square baking

pan with foil, extending the foilover the edges of the pan. Coat foilwith no-stick cooking spray.

Combine semi-sweet chocolatechips, bittersweet chocolate chipsand sweetened condensed milk inmedium saucepan. Cook over lowheat, stirring constantly, untilchocolate is melted and mixture is

smooth when stirred. Removefrom heat; cool 5 minutes.

Stir in peanuts, chopped sugarcones, white chocolate chips andcherries until thoroughly blended.Spread in prepared pan. Cover andchill 3 hours or until firm.

Remove fudge from pan by lift-ing edges of foil. Peel off foil. Cutinto 1-inch pieces.
