Hoggy’s Barn & Grille. The concept was developed by a small group of people working at the Steak Escape. The founders of that company financed the development and operated the locations. We tore down some barns to come up with al lot of the wood. That wasn’t fun by the way

In a few of the Hoggy’s locations we hung a full size tractor in the middle of the room. Hardest part was getting grease to stop leaking from the axle

Me in the first tractor!

My friend Greg McDowell and I ran these jobs and did the lions share of the interior work along with Tim Hammer and Bart Browne. Basically the four of us killed ourselves doing these restaurants.

All of the interior finishes were hand done and very unique. Every piece of art also hand made.

Artwork in all the Hoggy’s was hand done by a great artist: Cyndi Bellarose from Columbus Ohio. She is always filled with great ideas.
