Gosford Times 15th September 1916 Private Wm Hodge, who was a pupil at Wamberal Public School and a late resident of Tumbi Umbi, was killed in action in France on 26
th July. He was through the Gallipoli campaign before being removed to
France.
Gosford Times 26th July 1917 Private W Hodge, who prior to the war attended the Wamberal School and later was in the employ of Mr E Robson, was killed some time ago.
