RENEWABLE BRONZESHAFT SLEEVEThe renewable bronze shaft sleeveinsulates the shaft from abrasionand contact with pumped liquids.

FLANGED CAST IRON CASINGOur class 30 grade iron casing is tapped for adrain, vent and pressure gauge, includes a suc-tion wear ring and can be rotated to various discharge positions. Standard ANSI flange-typesuction and discharge nozzles facilitate instal-lation and maintenance.

MECHANICALSHAFT SEALSOur mechanical seals featureCarbon/Ceramic/Buna andstainless steel components,eliminating maintenance andadjustment problems. Abypass line on some modelshelps purge abrasives fromthe seal chamber.

E,F&Gs are equipped with your choiceof either close-coupled NEMA electricmotors or frame mounted with cou-pling to electric motors, engines,steam turbines, or even belt-drivenoptions. The E,F&G’s 360º mountingcapabilities greatly extend installationoptions. Close-coupled configurationscan be mounted vertically when spaceis at a premium. The E,F&G’s back pull-out design permits removal of thepump assembly for easy maintenancewithout disturbing pipe connections.All E,F&G models are flanged in accor-dance with ANSI B 16.1 for 125 PSIapplications.

In addition to the wide variety ofoptions and upgrades available toconfigure the Series for your specificapplication, all E,F&G pumps are engi-neered for performance, long life andeasy maintenance.

SINGLE-PIECE ENCLOSED IMPELLERMade of cast bronze and keyed to the shaft, our single-piece enclosed impeller is precision balancedwith the diameter cut for the specific condition point.On high-head units, the impeller back is drilled forhydraulic balance, limiting thrust load and reducingpressure in the sealing area.

3MTM ScotchkoteTM 134 FusionBonded Epoxy is designed forcorrosion protection of metalcomponents. Because its bond-ing process provides superioradhesion and coverage, this spe-cialized epoxy coating is particu-larly suited for the inside ofpumps where a smooth, corro-sion-resistant surface is required.EF&G pumps can be coated onthe interior, exterior, or both.
