ProductImplementationTrainingProduct implementation training is delivered on-site in real time via webinar, or pre-recorded sessions can be accessed online, on-demand.

School-BasedSeminarBased on your needs, we match your school or district with a trainer for extended staff development. An on-site seminar is held over one, two, or multiple days and provides an in-depth exploration into a particular topic. Each participant receives a copy of a related professional book which serves as the foundation for ongoing professional study. When feasible, our trainer leads classroom demonstration lessons and facilitates debriefing sessions with participants. While on-site, the trainer can continue to conduct in-depth study with school leaders and provide guidance for subsequent sessions.

DebriefingAfter your school-based seminar, your trainer facilitates a debriefing with school leaders that focuses on developing a plan to support continued professional growth.

WebinarFollowing your school-based seminar, a series of follow-up, interactive webinars can be scheduled with an author or trainer to consolidate the learning in the seminar and to provide ongoing coaching to mentors. This in-depth study will enable local leaders to provide more consistent follow-up with teachers.

OnlineBookStudies

To develop deeper understanding of an instructional issue, you can schedule one of our authors or consultants to lead an on-line book study on the professional book of your choice.

ProfessionalLearningCommunitiesTo further support their professional growth, teachers can join our author-led online forums, blogs, or Nings to stay up-to-date with the latest thinking and establish a support network with their peers.

SpeakingEngagementsIf you want to challenge and reinvigorate your teachers, engage one of our internationally-recognized authors to speak with your entire faculty.

ResidencyProgramFor more depth, a residency program allows you the chance to interact at length, and over time, with a literacy, math, or science expert.

When it comes to reading, there’s a story behind every student… and each student’s story is different. Life in the classroom would be a lot easier if every student learned at the same pace. But that’s rarely the case. That’s why we developed the Gates-MacGinitie Reading Tests® (GMRT®). Teachers rely on these tests to get the real story behind every student, which enables teachers to give students the extra instructional guidance they need.
