RETAILER BRAND STANDARDS
As a Herman Miller® Authorized Retailer, we provide Brand Standards for you to ensure consistency in your communications, as well as to protect our design heritage and brand recognition. For your convenience, these cover both written and visual messaging. Use them in developing advertisements and promotions that include the Herman Miller brand and its products.
BRAND Using the Herman Miller Name and Logo

Use the provided Herman Miller logo lockup.

In Text
In body copy or a headline, use the words “Herman Miller,”
with a space between “Herman” and “Miller.”
Trademarks
Use the ® after the first use of “Herman Miller” in body text.

SOCIAL MEDIA General Guidelines for Organic Posts
The following are recommended crops for images
on social platforms.
Facebook: With a link: 1.91x1
Engagement: 16x9 (or larger)
Twitter: 5x4 or best crop for image
Instagram: 1x1
Instagram Stories: 9x16
Linkedin: 1.91x1
You do not need to include the brand or product
trademarks in social channel posts.
Please do not right click and save down images
from Herman Miller's social media channels
for use in your channels. If there is a post or a
particular image asset you would like to use,
please email [email protected]
and we will provide it to you.
PHOTOGRAPHY Types
Lifestyle Imagery In print and web units 500 x 400 px or larger,
you may use approved photos of products set
within an environment.
White-Sweep Imagery Use photos of products on a white background in
print and web units of any size; pixels should be 72 dpi
and print should be 300 dpi.
Retailer photography is acceptable as long as it
is approved by Herman Miller.
PHOTOGRAPHY General Guidelines
Do: Include as much of the product as possible in the image.
Do: Place copy on the image in a way that does not conflict with the products.
Don’t: Crop the product off in the images.
Don’t: Run copy over products.
