“I think Israel is a great example, the best

I’ve seen. It has a disproportionate amount of

brains and energy…a dream investment.”

“A nation of entrepreneurs with fantastic

capabilities.”

(Address to Israel Ministry of Industry and Trade)

Warren Buffett has thus far purchased four companies in Israel and paid $2.6B for the remaining 20% of Iskar that he did not yet own.

Natural Gas:

In 2009, the world’s largest gas find in 10 years was discovered off Israel’s coast.

The ‘Tamar’ gas find has approx. 10 TCF, enough to supply Israel for 30 years. (note: each TCF is worth approx. $4 B)

In June 2010, the ‘Leviathan’ find was discovered. It has 22 TCF of gas with a value in excess of $80 B plus an estimated 3 B barrels of oil (June/14).

The USGS estimates 122 TCF of recoverable natural gas in the Levant Basin, almost all in Israel’s sovereign economic zone.

Israel’s economy is booming in almost every sector

HLIF has retained some of Israel’s best fund managers.

HLIF had concluded 31 months of excellent returns (as of April 31/15)

There is an opportunity to “Buy Israel” as the Israeli market is still considerably underpriced relative to all major Western markets.
