    Introduction It is proposed to erect tubular scaffold as shown on the drawings attached. The scaffold consists of 48.6mm*2.4thk steel pipes. Materials and construction of the scaffold shall comply with WSH (scaffold) Regulations. The scaffold structure will be used for working platform. Lateral supports, Diagonal bracings and handrails according to MOM requirements (or its equivalent) are to be provided. For clarity reasons, not all of them are shown in the drawings to ease readings. A computer model of main structural members only of the scaffold structure has been established by computer program: STAAD PRO to keep the computer processing time & output down to manageable. The structural model will be subjected to its self-weight (SW) and DL (dead load due to metal decks) constantly. In addition, it may be subjected to LL (live load due to weight of workers). The scaffolds structural model, subjected to factored Load Combination C1= 1.4(SW + DL) + 1.6(LL) as shown in the print out has been analysed by STAAD PRO and found to be structurally safe.
