HKIBIM Annual Conference 2016 - Call for Papers

2
The Organization Committee of the HKIBIM Annual Conference 2016 invites you to submit paper to be featured at the Conference. The HKIBIM Annual Conference is the premier annual event for experienced professionals to demonstrate the practical use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes using real cases. The speakers are encouraged to illustrate lessons learned in practical projects so that more professionals from different disciplines can improve their productivity through efficient use of BIM and advance practical knowledge. This is an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with the larger BIM community. The conference topics should be related but not limited to: (1) 3D laser scanning, image based modelling; (2) Use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV); (3) Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, BIM-based Immersive Virtual Environment; (4) Mobility application; (5) Computational design with BIM by visual programming; (6) Facilities Management, BIM Interoperability, COBie, BIM data exchange; (7) Energy Performance Modeling; (8) Prefabrication, 3D printing. The experiences of BIM working with discipline from design, construction, engineering, project management, manufacturing, financing, insurance, risk management and legal to showcase the achievement in a manageable system, accuracy, productivity and cost effectiveness is expected from the paper.
