GCSE OCR B Fieldwork Focus
1) Apply your understanding to thoroughly explain your evidence
Keep referring to the QoL concept diagram
Keep referring to the urban structure concept diagram.
2) Locate the study area using a variety of skills and techniques
Use OS maps, aerial photographs and GIS maps to locate and describe your study area (Maidstone).
3) Suggest an appropriate variety of data collection methods
Refer to at least 4 techniques and refer to using GIS Multiple Deprivation data (IMD 2010) as a secondary source.
4) Collect and record accurate fieldwork and research data
5) Present your data in an appropriate range of maps, graphs and diagrams
Make sure you have used at least 4 different data presentation techniques
6) Include a substantiated conclusion
Make sure you back up your conclusions with hard facts.
