The Redemptorists of the 'ebu i!e4Pro in!e !ontinue their wor* toda# under a new

!limate and fa!ing new !hallenges" At present there are four Redemptorist )ission Teams

operating in 'entral .isa#as% 8estern .isa#as% 7astern .isa#as and )indanao" These

teams are !omposed of Redemptorists and la# !ooperators" The Redemptorist Itinerant

)ission 'ommunit# wor*ing in )indanao is regarded as a new wa# of li ing the

Redemptorist apostoli! life" The shrine !hur!hes are fun!tioning as !enters of

e angeli ation and de otion% espe!iall# to the )other of Perpetual :elp" There are fi e

parishes run b# Redemptorists and these are !onsidered as permanent missions where

,asi! 7!!lesial 'ommunities are being built and strengthened" The Retreat :ouses

!ontinue to be !enters of on4going formation for the !lerg#% religious% la# people and

other !hur!h groups" Some !onfreres !ontinue their !haplain!# wor* in the /eprosariumand other hospitals within their parishes" The @usti!e and Pea!e des* !ontinues to promote

the integration of =usti!e and pea!e wor* in the arious apostolates"

In all these arious apostoli! underta*ing% the Redemptorist wor* in !ooperation with

la# people 4 the la# !ooperators" The# ha e be!ome part of the Redemptorist life and

apostolate sin!e after .ati!an II" To !entrali e and s#stemati e their initial and ongoing

formation the Alphonsian /a# &ormation Institute was established"

In 1996% the Redemptorists in the Southern Philippines be!ame an indendent pro in!e

ta*ing as its offi!ial name the 'ebu pro in!e" This pro in!e !omprises the islands in

.isa#as and )indanao" The 'ebu pro in!e maintains its lin* and !ollaboration with the

)anila i!e4pro in!e"

In 2006% the Redemptorists will be !elebrating its !entenar# in the Philippines"
