Who invented the airplane? The first plane was invented by the Wright

brothers. Americans Wilbur and Orville Wright were born on 16 April 1867 and 19 August 1871 respectively. After high school, continued their studies because they decided to open a bicycle repair shop. Interest and passion for aviation led to the development of the first heavier than air flight.

The first aircraft that flew

Wright brothers began working on the idea of building an airplane in 1899. They were able to fly the first flight on December 17, 1903. It was a historic day, as many efforts to build an airplane to rise above the ground have failed earlie.

AerodynamicsPeriod between 1799 and 1809 was particularly important for Aeronautics. Fundamental concepts of aerodynamics were established during this period by Sir George Cayley, an English baron. He was the one who advanced the slopes, relatively new at the time, which proposed a flat surface in order to facilitate lifting required for flight.

Hang gliding

Otto Lilienthal, a German aeronautical engineer, inspired the Wright brothers to begin documenting the invention of the first airplane. Hang gliding he created successfully completed many flights. However, the aircraft lacked a control system and there is no possibility of being supplied with fuel. During flight, Lilienthal must balance shaft to guide the glider in a certain direction.

The first plane invented Wilbur and Orville Wright tried to overcome the limits of Lilienthal's gliders. For their first flight, and they used the concept slopes. Aircraft were equipped with a 12 hp engine, gasoline, and two propellers. Plane that developed it was a biplane with two main wings, one above the other. The two wings have provided more power lift aircraft. Finally, on December 17, 1903, the first flight of their aircraft was conducted at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, USA. It took 59 seconds and flew 259 m at a height of about 36m.

Aurel Vlaicu

Romanian aviator Aurel Vlaicu. Aurel Vlaicu (born November 19, 1882, Binţinţi near Orastie, Hunedoara County - died September 13, 1913, monetary, near Campina) was a Romanian engineer, inventor and aviation pioneer of Romanian and world. In his honor, the village is now called Aurel Vlaicu Binţinţi. On 13 September 1913, during an attempt to cross the Carpathian Mountains with its Vlaicu II airplane, crashed near Campina, apparently due to a heart attack. The following year his friends Magnani and complete construction Silişteanu Vlaicu III aircraft and pilot by Peter Macavei made several short flights. Authorities prohibit further attempts weather, in autumn 1916, during the German occupation, the plane is dispatched to Berlin. He was last seen in 1940.

The first flight of a jet device On December 16, 1910, he took the young Coanda aircraft on military land in Issy-les-

Moulineaux, near Paris, for a test. In a letter to the engineer and aviation history inhabitant Constantine Gheorghiu, in 1956, Henri Coanda air lifted her story as almost without realizing it and it was a close one to conclude how the accounts with life: "... I wanted to make an attempt and then there was no one to teach us, we must learn ourselves. I told Breguet and Gabriel VOIS who were with me: "Look, I'll try to walk a little field". I began. I sat in the middle of the unit and then flames coming out of both of the two tubular reaction was so strong that I felt very hot temperature. Then I decided to cover these flames, both below and above the two small plates and went out on the field again. Then something extraordinary has happened. Jet flames instead to go straight, began to depart, to come against the fuselage. However, the fuselage was wooden and I was in the middle and I was very afraid. Then I took only gradually reduce the flames and bring them back to the part where asbestos was and I did not realize what was happening around me. I raised my head, I saw that I was not attached to the earth, but at the same time I saw the walls of Paris, the Paris of that time had walls around. I saw the walls of Paris with enormous speed coming towards me. And then I was so afraid I took the steering wheels steering and went up. Although I had a slot, however I lost speed and I slipped and fell and burned unit. Luckily at that time I had no belt and no bonnet, so I was thrown out and the machine burned. So ended the first flight of the first jet unit. “

Only after thorough studies, which lasted over two decades, the events on the occasion of this test were entered materialized in the history of science and technology as the "Coanda effect", with numerous applications in hydrodynamics and aerodynamics .

Airplane The plane is one of the major

scientific achievements of the twentieth century. Engineers have nature-inspired racer studying birds. People always dream to conquer the sky with birds ability and grace. Icarus of Greek legends wax wings flew into the sky. But when came too close to the sun, the wax melted and he fell into gol. Leonardo da Vinci, the great Renaissance artist and inventor was obsessed with the idea of flying. He left behind his many designs for flying machines he imagined. But 400 years passed until the secret was flying. The first flight attempts had often a tragic end. Some adventurous pilots their wings tied arms, shaking them vigorously to rise into the air. None of these attempts did not result because, riders are'' not realized that both shape and motion of the wing of a bird in flight has an important role.
