and the Bimonthly Review of the House of Cures.
In 1940 Dr Rovetta wrote Towards Scientific Naturalism,
published by Airoldi, in which he set out his cures:
Sun, food, air and water are the four cosmic sourcesof energy that our bodies continuously use for our needs
and for the productive and reproductive purposes of life.
In 1944 he also wrote Naturalism: natural cures.

The theories of Dr Rovetta were innovative and placedat the centre the main themes of naturalism, namely
hygiene and nutrition. These topics were also studiedby his contemporaries.Rovetta had deduced the complexity of the human being
and the importance of understanding and interpreting theinteriority of each person in order to establish his or herneeds and wants in order to improve the quality of life.

The dream of Dr Rovetta was to create an Institute of NaturalCures, which he was sadly unable to achieve. That is whyRenaissance is today now reproducing in modern form all of thesplendour of a place of cure in an environment where great menonce created the story of natural cures.
Naturalism was a doctrine that let nature take its course rather
than intervening artifcially. The nature in this case was thatof the human being, capable of healing the sick body.

For each person, 30 g of legumes (chick peas, broad beans, peas, kidney
beans, lentils), 30 g of seasonal vegetables (beets, chard, turnips, cabbage,
spinach), a potato, a carrot, and a little celery and onion are placed
in cooking water. Once all is cooked, the broth is removed from the soup
and the vegetables and legumes are sieved. These are then added to the
broth, which is put on the stove with a little salt, a knob of butter and 25-
30 g of ne pasta: when the soup is removed from the heat a little basil,
or sage, or thyme, or marjoram, or oregano, or hyssop, or a very small
quantity of bayleaf are added. A fresh egg is meanwhile beaten separately
in a small aluminium pan (three soup plates), a small quantity of soft cheese
is added and the soup is served very hot. Meat broth can also be used:
it is recommended to keep the legumes in numbered bags in order
Each guest is welcomed with a special soup prepared according
to Dr Rovettas original recipe:
