PROGRAMS OF STUDYCity Vision University operates on an accelerated semesterbasis with five 8 week terms each year starting in January, March, June and October. Students in the undergraduate programs must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Student in the master’s program must have a bachelor’s degree.DEGREE PROGRAMSCity Vision University offers an associate’s and a bachelor’s in Business; bachelor’s in Addiction Studies, Nonprofit Management, and Missions; and a master’s in Technology & Social Entrepreneurship.Addiction Studies Program: equips Christian workers to work effectively with alcoholics, drug addicts and their family members. This training program provides a Bachelor of Arts in Addiction Studies, and prepares students for certification in a state as an addiction counselor. City Vision University is an Approved Academic Education Provider for NAADAC, the national association for addiction professionals.Business Program: prepares students for jobs in mid-level management in either business or nonprofit settings, as well as jobs in accounting or office administration. It also provides entrepreneurship training that could be used to start a business. This program provides either an Associate of Science or a Bachelor of Science in Business Administra-tion.Nonprofit Management Program: prepares individuals to manage the business affairs of non-profit organizations and ministries. This program provides a Bachelor of Science in Nonprofit Management, and can be used to obtain CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) certification.Missions Program: prepares students to lead and to work in Christian social service organizations, primarily those in urban settings. This program provides a Bachelor of Arts in Missions with an urban ministry emphasis.Technology & Social Entrepreneurship Program: equips Christian technologists to use their skills for God’s Kingdom through both cyber-evangelism and social entrepreneurship. This program provides a Master of Science in Technology & Social Entrepreneurship.All undergraduate bachelor’s degrees require a total of 120 credit hours and are equivalent to 4-year degrees awarded by accredited residential colleges in the United States. Students may transfer in up to 90 credit hours from

outside institutions. At least 30 credit hours - the equivalent of senior year - must be from City Vision University.The master’s degree requires 36 graduate-level credit hours, and, finally, the associate’s degree (only for Business) requires 60 undergraduate credit hours, 30 of which must come from City Vision.

COSTAll courses are 8 weeks in length and take about 17 hours of study time per week. The cost for undergraduate classes is $233/credit hour = $700; for graduate classes it is $300/credit hour = $900. Textbooks must be purchased separately.

FINANCIAL AIDQualifying undergraduate students can get their tuition fully covered by Pell grants. Students may also use Federal loans or GI Bill benefits. We provide a 50% discount to students in developing countries, a 25% discount to military/veterans, and a 50% discount to ministry interns and students from partner organizations.

TRANSFER CREDITCity Vision University credits may be transferred to any member of the Higher Education Transfer Alliance, which includes hundreds of colleges and universities as well as most schools that are accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education. In addition, City Vision University accepts transfer credits from any institution recognized by the US Department of Education or the International Handbook of Universities. FULL TUITION SCHOLARSHIP THROUGH WORK STUDY INTERNSHIPSA CHRISTIAN COUNTERPART TO AMERICORPSCity Vision University has a work study internship program, which is a Christian version of AmeriCorps. It gives students on-the-job experience in Christian social services. Internships are available in many major cities in the United States and Canada. In the past 10 years, we have placed over 500 full-time interns & 80,000 volunteers.

City Vision interns receive free tuition for a full year of college. In addition, interns who are eligible for Pell grants (up to $5,815) or other federal financial aid can receive that as a cash payment. Some sites may provide an additional stipend for outstanding applicants.
