THE NEWNESS OF LIFEChrist is the revelation of God’s mysteries, God’s

extravagant love in John 3:16 and the vast strength of God’s boundless and inexhaustible compassion.In Christ we saw the glory of God’s plan for our

redemption in Isaiah 9:6-7 , Isaiah 7:14 and the hope that is set before us. His crucifixion, death and

resurrection transcends everything else...... because it is our road map to the newness of life and to

comprehending the breadth, the length, the depth and the height of God’s mysteries .

Jesus Christ is the last Adam

The first Adam created at the genesis, conception and birth of time was made a living soul (a life receiver, an earthly personality) who was eclipsed by sin, the first

ever transcript of sin by mankind.But the last Adam (Christ) from the preconception of

time was made a quickening spirit, a life-giving spirit, a life-giver, a life- restorer, restoring the dead to life. He

is the author and indispensable part of our eternity.

He who knew no sin was made sin for our sake that we might be

saved. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.


For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives or dwells in bodily form, giving complete expression of the

divine nature.

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.


What qualified him to die for us?


Christ in the trinity is a mediator and the head of the church from whom all grace and strength

are sourced by us walking in the newness of life.For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to

dwell because he exemplifies the fullness of righteousness, of strength and grace which

qualified him and pleased God to redeem and reconcile mankind to himself.

What qualified him to die for us?

Christ had and still has the ability to stop the motions of sins in us because we are now under grace not under the

law hence sin has ceased to have dominion over us now that we walk

after the spirit.


The righteousness of the law is fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit due to the full merit of the righteousness and grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death

that the body of sin (our crucified old self) might be done away with,

that we should no longer be slaves to sin.


We walk in the Newness of Life because of Christ resurrection power

His resurrection power gives a rebirth to what is dead in your life

that needs to be resurrected or raised to newness.

Our Circumcision & His Resurrection

We are circumcised by the power of his resurrection Colossians 2:11. A circumcision made without hand,

not superficial, not frivolous or meaningless. A circumcision that guarantees our newness of life and

the crucifixion of our old sinful self or nature.


We know by his resurrection power we shall appear with Him in glory. He made a public

show of principalities and powers haven spoiled them and triumphing over.


Our life is hid with God, we are now people of His pasture because

Christ has blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was

against us which was contrary to us


Easter is a period of rebirth that profiles Christ crucifixion, death and

resurrection power and a reminder of his humble faith in God the father.

His triumph over sin, principalities and powers of darkness and evils of this

world.


Christ the life-giving spirit, the restorer of life and hope was raised up from the dead by the glory of the father.

We and those sleeping in the LORD are in like manner going to raised in his

second coming.


Romans 6:3-6 (New International Version)3Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. 5If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection. 6For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin—
