~ Please make sure to sign your child in and out every day! ~ Please make sure to check your child’s cubby every day! ~ Please make sure you are labeling any extra closing, jackets, etc. with your child’s name. Hippo Happenings July 2012 ~ Color Sorting – the Hippos will explore and play with star shapes. We will sort them by colors and practice counting from 1 to 7. ~ USA Flag– we will create use our hands and red white and blue paint. ~ Leaf Sort –we will sort leaves by sizes and type and practice counting them from 1 to 5. ~ Black Sheep Art- we will create using sponges as a painting tool ~ Under the Sea- we will create collages using glue, sea animal shapes and paper. We will practice cooperation while working on this project as a class.
