What point did the presenter make about videos just a few years ago and videos now?The point she made is in the 90’s music video’s women were used to dancing and having fun but, now music video’s are used for women in a more sexual way. For example:

Why were these important in the development of music videos?The thong song was the first half naked video to be put on the web. Since then it has carried on in hip hop and pop songs.

How did ‘Tashy Jay’ chose to represent herself in the documentary? She came across as quite stupid. She says she is a professional dancer and has more quality in music videos than the other girls.

What was she saying about ‘video girls’ at the shoot?

She was saying that they are the ones that throw themselves in front of the artist to get in the shot.

He said that girls are there to attract viewers to the video.

They need these girls in these videos so people will watch it more.

They found all these girls by using adverts on the web. They are not expensive as half of them are not getting paid.

These women believe they are the ones with the power. They believe they are exploiting men, not the other way around. What do you think?

I think that the women are being exploited far more than the men as men are wearing much more clothing in hip hop videos.

The issue is in most music videos you see a bit of butt and breasts exploited in the videos but, the men always have their clothes and this clearly shows unfairness.

He thinks that whatever he tells the girls to do they have to do. For example he says”I would just say shut up, stand there, and get your titties out.

She went to a fake modeling job that she thought was real. She went there to do some modeling for a big shoot but, she found out it was a trap to lure girls in. She was sexually assaulted when she was there. She tried to push the guy away but, it didn’t work.

She has been working with artists since the early 90’s and she has seen that in the 90’s it was all about dancing and having a good time. But now it’s about drugs and sexually exploiting women. Her opinion was video’s are getting more and more sexual and women are starting to be bad role models.

She is challenged by the presenter because she is the lead female dancer in the whole video.

This is the US ‘Ambassador for Hip Hop’ - what is her view?She is saying how girls booty’s are free style like and their bodies are tight, they are coloured nicely. She also says the men are always clothed as most men are fat. But, the women are mostly exploited and the men are not.

How has Angel Lola Love’s experience been positive?Her experience has been positive because she gets paid quite a lot and the fame is great to have. Also she is in video’s with the most famous hip hop artists dancing around them which I think is a cool job.

What conclusions can we draw from this documentary?

The conclusion is women are exploited more in music video’s and men always have

clothes on. Also we learn that women are treated quite badly in music video’s,

sometimes being sexually assaulted. Also I think men should be equally exploited

and women should too.
