TransPort Hip Access System

The TransPort Cannulas are offered in 3 hip-specific lengths to accommodate most patient sizes. The versatile cannulas allow for in-situ adjustments to account for swelling and help maintain optimal positioning within the joint space The polymer construction is designed to reduce the potential for iatrogenic damage, while the proximal securement threads are designed to maintain portal position during instrument insertion and removal. Cannulas accept most commonly used instruments including curved shavers and burrs, allowing for a reduction in the amount of naked portal plunges to help protect soft tissues from iatrogenic damage.

Tissue Protection Takes On A New FormPivot Medical’s TransPort Hip Access system is designed to allow the surgeon to access the central, peripheral and lateral compartments to treat pathology found in the hip.

Pivot Samurai Blades

Samurai Blades CAT00227 Samurai Blade, Full Radius

CAT02421 Samurai Curved Blade, Full Radius

The extremely sharp Samurai Blade cuts through thick capsule with ease and the ergonomic handle allows for control and comfort for precision capsule cutting and labral takedown. The Samurai’s hip-specific length and single body construction are designed to accommodate most patient sizes and helps to minimise the potential for blade breakage.

Samurai Curved Blade, Full Radius

The contour of the Samurai Curved Blade is designed to

reduce the risk of iatrogenic damage.

Samurai Blade, Full Radius

The extremely sharp tip of the Samurai Blade is designed

to cut through thick, capsular tissue.

FlowPort II Cannula with Obturator and Adapters

The FlowPort II cannulas and associated obturator are made of a radiopaque polymer design helps to reduce the potential for iatrogenic damage and is compliant against joint surfaces. The 5.0mm inner diameter allows for fluid inflow to maintain joint distention and visualization. When the adapter and scope construct is attached to the FlowPort cannula the system moves together between portals. Adapters are offered to fit many scope varieties and allow for adjustable inflow and outflow.

Champion Shoulder Instrumentation Set

Suture Sliders, Rasps, Knot Pusher• Simplistic colour coded design reduces the risk of human error in arthroscopic shoulder cases.• Versatile instruments allow for multiple techniques in bone and tissue preparation as well

as suture passage, including loading suture transversely. Razor sharp tips on suture needles allow for ease in tissue penetration.

• Costs are lowered with non-disposable suture passage instruments (StabiliHook & Cuff Hook) and a suture slider handle that is reusable for all needles.

The Champion Shoulder instrumentation system was designed with simplicity in mind. Clever instruments like the StabiliHook and Cuff Hook allow for suture passage without the use of disposable elements. Razor sharp tips al-low easier penetration of tough tissue during shoulder arthroscopy. The Stitch Blade Suture Cutter adds versatility to any technique by giving the surgeon the unique opportunity to load the suture transversely. Aggressive rasps and traumatic liberators can be used for preparation of bone and tissue.

StabiliHook

StabiliHook Left

StabiliHook Right

The StabiliHook was specifically designed for suture passing and retrieving at the 6 o’clock position of the glenoid

labrum. Emphasis must be placed on a rotation technique that involves piercing the labrum with the distal tip of the

device and rotating the tip through the tissue. Using a twist-in, twist-out motion, the StabiliHook is designed for

instability repair.

Cuff Hook

Cuff Hook Left

Cuff Hook Right

The Cuff Hook was specifically designed for suture passing and retrieving during rotator cuff repair. The suture can be

retrieved by piercing the superior portion of the rotator cuff with the sharp distal tip of the instrument, rotating through

the tissue, and then retrieving the suture using a twisting retrograde motion. Suture can be passed by grasping the suture

and anti-grading the distal tip through the inferior portion of the rotator cuff. Both of these techniques use an intuitive

twist-in, twist-out motion.

Suture Manipulator is used to manipulate suture and/or Nitinol wire of suture sliders.

Suture Cutter

Suture Cutter

Due to its unique transverse loading technique, the Stitch Blade Suture Cutter allows for more versatility than conventional

cutters. A surgeon can use the distal tip as a knot pusher to throw a final half-hitch and then cut both strands without leaving

the joint-space. To operate the device, the handle portion of the device is squeezed, locking the suture in the eyelet. The device

may be slid up and down the length of the suture with less potential for unload. The device is slid down the suture to the knot

and with a simple squeeze of the trigger, the suture is cut.
