B/R Ambush 28 is the #1 bull of the entire Angus breed for the $Beef index, with his superior marbling, muscle and fat combination. Furthermore, Ambush 28 daughters are moderate milking females that fit a wide array of environments, while simultaneously taking end product value to new levels.

The dam of the Lot 7 heifer pregnancy, G A R Predestined 1907, ranks among the top 40 cows in the Angus breed for the post weaning merit $Beef index. She has compiled an impressive progeny record in the toughest contemporary group at Gardiner Angus Ranch (the donors management group) recording 1 @ BW 92, 1 @ WW 101, 1 @ YW 104, 3 @ %IMF 110, and 3 @ RE 102. 1907 ranks among the top 4% of all Angus dams for weaning and yearling growth, while at the same time ranking in the top 5% of the breed for the $Weaning index. She also easily surpasses the top 1% of the breed for Marbling at +1.06 and RE at +.62. 1907 is the result of 7 consecutive “main donors” at GAR.

G A R 1407 New Design 1013, the third dam of Lot 7, is pictured when she sold for $70,000 in the 2007 Gardiner Angus Ranch sale, the same sale in which the grandam of this heifer pregnancy brought $50,000 as the first bred heifer offered.

The Ambush 28 x 1907 heifer calf created for this offering presents infinite possibilities.

As the Gardiners say, “Yes, Dorothy, you may have it all!”

The now-deceased sire of this choice lot offers both a unique pedigree and a $B index of $70.07 as of this writing. His second generation Pathfinder dam has been a donor at SydGen and Southern Cattle Company.

SydGen Forever Lady 4087 is best known as the dam of the breed’s Number 1 sire for Docility EPD, SydGen CC&7, who sold half interest for $39,000 to Hoover Angus to top his calf crop at SydGen in 2006. Corona’s only daughter from his first calf crop, the donor 4087 is the featured female in the 2010 SydGen Sale. She combines a top production record with a fantastic, dominant “look.” Visitors to SydGen marvel at her mobility, combined with massive volume and rib shape, her slick and supple hair coat, and her wonderful disposition.

SydGen CC&7 sired SydGen Doc 9017, the top-seller of his calf crop, of whom two thirds interest sold to TC Ranch and Whitestone Krebs for $53,333 in the fall of 2009. Two thirds interest of another CC&7 son, Hoover Dam, sold for $47,500 to top the 2009 Hoover Angus sale. The famous maternal brother to this heifer calf choice has become one of the most widely-used sires in the Angus breed, turning out highly sought-after sons and daughters with his trademark traits of docility, fertility, length and eye appeal.

Offering Buyer’s Choice of two incredibly exclusive heifers born at Sydenstricker Genetics in September, 2010 – no daughter of SydGen Forever Lady 4087 has EVER been sold

The featured donor of this pregnancy, Thomas Carol 7595, is the “next generation” Carol at Thomas Angus Ranch. She has not faltered yet in her young production career, posting progeny records of BR 2@99, WR 2@129, YR 1@141, and REA ratio 1@130. She is the leading daughter of Thomas Carol 1246, the $58,000 Parker/Byrd donor who was second high-seller in the 2005 Thomas Sale.

Maternal siblings to the dam of this elite heifer pregnancy include a $13,500 son who is currently the number thirteen bull in the breed for RE EPD, an $11,000 son who topped the 2010 Byrd Cattle Co. Sale, and another son topped the 2010 Parker Angus Ranch Sale in Oklahoma.

This heifer pregnancy presents an unbelievably exclusive opportunity because Thomas Carol 7595’s first natural progeny were both bull calves. Recently, and for the second year in a row, her son topped the 400-head 2010 Thomas Angus Ranch sale. Calved February 2010, her second calf, Thomas Snake River 0140, sold for $14,250 to Rocking R Cattle Co. Thomas Powder River 9053, her first calf, was the Thomas high-seller in 2009, and he is now featured at Genex.

The Lot 11 heifer pregnancy represents the progression and highest accomplishment that Thomas Angus Ranch has achieved from over 60 years of dedicated selection and breeding.

The heifer calf due in early February will be the first female offspring of this great young donor!
