Hike gonewrong!

“Mother, Why is dad coughing?”

“He is sick, come help like a normal 12 year old,” replied hismother.

“fine, come on Sparkey, and please don’t bark.” The boy said.

“Hurry up Chase! Your father, he isn't feeling well,” yelled hismother.

Chase ran downstairs and soon finds out that the dog hasfollowed him.

“I’m going to call you Sparkey” said Chase.

He looked at his mother and she seemed worried. He looked at hisdad and he understood why. He had a purple face and red nose. Hismother has the ingredients, but she needs water for the medicine. Theboy was sent to the Euphrates River to get some water.

His mother handed him a map that led to the river. He waswalking on a path but looking at the map. Soon he was off the path,but he still was heading the right direction. He kept moving.

“Come on Sparkey we got to get their, my fathers life maydepend on it!” Said Chase.

So they walked, finally at last they made it to the river. He tookout his cup and saw the river was only a few meters away. So he beganwalking but then he tripped and fell down a hole.

The young boy got up in fear when he saw some symbols on thiswall. He knew that it wasn't a hill, it was a wall. He stumbled forwardand saw some somewhat destroyed piece of rock. It was no rock. Itwas mud-brick. He turned around and saw a huge tower. It looked likea mountain but it was square.

Chase looked around knowing that he couldn’t climb back, he wentinside of the ziggurat. He continued walking and following his dogthrough the cave, a dark cave. He found a bowl and put it in his pocket.

He found a piece of dry clay on the ground. He looked at theclay tablet and it didn’t seem to be any words from his country. Hefinally knew that he was standing in a ziggurat.

“ We got to get out of here Sparkey” said Chase.

Chase looked at the light from the other side of the room. Itwas going to be a heck of a run. He ran but his dog still leading theway.

They ran out of the room and saw a bottle on the ground. full ofliquid. Soon Chase saw a staircase out. He walked up the staircase.

He walked out and took the long journey back. He at last made itto his home. He walked in. His mother said that they were robbed andall of the items that were used to make the medicine were gone. Chaselooked at his hand his mother grabbed the bottle.

“This is the medicine!” yelled his mom.

He told his mom the story he she said he has just walked throughBabylon. They cured him and soon the all lived a happy long life.
