Day 1: Sydney to the Red Centre
Highlights:
Take in the vast outback while flying to Ayers Rock Airport to commence our tour.
See many rare species of native plants and animals. Learn how Aboriginal people survive in the desert, and discover the cultural significance of animals and plants, and spirituality of surrounding landscapes at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.
Witness the majestic sunset over Uluru from the Sunset Strip.
Camp 2 nights at Ayers Rock Campground
Day 2: Uluru and Kata Tjuta N.P
Highlights:
Explore the 9.4 km base of Uluru and view the aboriginal rock paintings and caves.
Visit Kata Tjuta, the magnificent dome shaped rock formation, another scenic and cultural wonder of the spectacular Red Centre.
Day 3: Uluru - Watarrka N.P (Kings Canyon)
Highlights:
The Kings Canyon Rim Walk is a 6km circuit transcending through the domes of the Lost City to the lush Garden of Eden. Explore the sandstone cliffs, natural rock pools and lush vegetation of the Garden of Eden and the domes of The Lost City.
Camels Australia – short guided Camel ride
Camp 1 night at Kings Creek Station.
Day 4: Watarrka N.P to Alice Springs
Highlights:
Journey through the breathtaking outback to Alice Springs.
View Mt Connor in the distance which is often mistaken for Uluru.
Experience the vast desert of Australia's Red Centre
Camp 3 nights at Alice Springs Holliday Park.
Day 5: MacDonnell Ranges

Day 6: Alice Springs
Highlights:
Visit the original Royal Flying Doctors Service in Alice Springs and learn about this unique service.
Visit the School of the Air, the worlds largest classroom, covering 1.3million square kilometres.
Visit the Alice Springs Desert Park. Students witness rare and endangered species, and discover desert habitat. Enjoy a cinematic journey through 4.5 billion years of evolution.
Optional: “Dreamtime and Bush Tucker Tour (in place of School of the Air or RFDS)
Day 7: Flight – Alice Springs to Sydney
Highlights:
Farewell Central Australia and board our flight home from Alice Springs to Sydney
