Where does time go? Actually that is an excellent question! And we have been asking a variation of that question for the last several weeks: “If you knew you only had 30 days left to live, how would you live your life?” The last couple of Sundays we have looked at the example of Christ and discovered that perhaps we would Live Passionately and Love Completely. This Sunday, we will talk about Learning Humbly, and the following week (11/14) we will talk about Leaving Boldly. Time does fly, but that doesn’t mean we can’t soar with it! I have been asked recently by several people about recordings of the worship services, so it seems this is a good time to answer that question again. Audio of all of our 11:00 worship services are posted on the “Worship” tab of the church website www.collegeparkbaptist.org , with links to the most recent weeks offered on the home page. You will have options as to whether you want to listen now, or save an MP3 file to listen to later. You may also call the church office to get an audio CD. The Re:Creation service has ten minute edited videos of select services available at the Re:Creation website www.Re-Creation.ws on the “Image Update & Video” page. It seems like we just got comfortable

with the idea that Fall is here, and now we

are realizing that Thanksgiving is only a

few weeks away...and the first Sunday of

Advent is Thanksgiving weekend! Where

does time go?

Actually that is an excellent question!

And we have been asking a variation of

that question for the last several weeks: “If

you knew you only had 30 days left to live, how

would you live your life?” The last couple of

Sundays we have looked at the example of

Christ and discovered that perhaps we

would Live Passionately and Love

Completely. This Sunday, we will talk

about Learning Humbly, and the following

week (11/14) we will talk about Leaving

Boldly. These are all part of “One Month

to Live: Living a No-Regrets Life!”

and I hope you will participate as much as

possible in the worship services and small

group studies during the next three weeks.

Time does fly, but that doesn’t mean we

can’t soar with it!

I have been asked recently by several

people about recordings of the worship

services, so it seems this is a good time to

answer that question again. Audio of all

of our 11:00 worship services are posted

on the “Worship” tab of the church

website www.collegeparkbaptist.org, with links

to the most recent weeks offered on the

home page. You will have options as to

whether you want to listen now, or save

an MP3 file to listen to later. You may

also call the church office to get an audio

CD. The Re:Creation service has ten

minute edited videos of select services

available at the Re:Creation website

www.Re-Creation.ws on the “Image Update

& Video” page. Both of these websites

are excellent tools to help you share with

friends about the wonderful things

happening at College Park!

See You Sunday!

Blessings and Peace,

Ramon

GENERAL NEWS

CRISIS CON†ROL MINISTRY

Gift for November:

Baking Mixes

“Whatever you do for one of the least of these brothers of mine,

you do for me.” Matthew 25:40

I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will

bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing (John 15:5)

Jesus, I am resting, resting, in the joy of what Thou art;

I am finding out the goodness of Thy loving heart.

Thou hast bid me gaze upon Thee, and Thy beauty fills my soul,

For by Thy transforming power, Thou hast made me whole.

O, how great Thy loving kindness, vaster, broader than the sea!

O, how marvelous Thy goodness, lavished all on me!

Yes, I rest in Thee, Beloved, know what wealth of grace is Thine,

Know Thy certainty of promise and have made it mine.

Simply trusting Thee, Lord Jesus, I behold Thee as Thou art,

And Thy Love, so pure, so changeless, satisfies my heart;

Satisfies my deepest longings, meets, supplies its every need,

Compasseth me round with blessings: Thine is love indeed!

Ever lift Thy face upon me as I work and wait for Thee;

Resting ‘neath Thy smile, Lord Jesus, Earth’s dark shadows flee.

Brightness of my Father’s glory, Sunshine of my Father’s face,

Keep me ever trusting, resting, fill me with Thy grace.
