Commercial franchise – Waste Management Fewer waste collection vehicles needed for recycling
and waste collection As of January 1, 2010, CNG trucks will be the
primary vehicle for the commercial franchise; CNG trucks contain 90% fewer pollutants than traditional fuel
Provides free recycling for program participants and makes it fiscally responsible to partake in the program
Since the program's inception, the recycling rate for the community has increased from 20% to over 40%
