Guidelines for the Safe management of high voltage (HV) installations strongly recommend High Voltage switching operators are assessed as being competent, while maintaining currency in the national units of competency for high voltage switching, delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). These guidelines for the safe management of high voltage electrical installations are issued under Section 33AA of the Electricity Act 1945 (WA) by the Director of Energy Safety and are endorsed by WorkSafe and justifies stringent operating procedures to prevent injury to persons and major damage to electrical installations and buildings. Mode of Delivery Blended classroom delivery with theoretical instruction and practical activities on deenergised switchgear

Entry Requirements

4 days - full course Participants are typically required to hold a UEE30811 – Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (Electrical Licence or equivalent) to be eligible to receive full Statement of Attainment.
