High Speed Rail Studies Hyderabad - Chennai - Thiruvananthapuram High-Speed Railway Corridor Location: Hyderabad - Chennai - Thiruvananthapuram, India As a JV member, OC Global conducted the pre-feasibility study on the proposed route No.5 and No.6 for running high speed trains with maximum design speed of 350 km/h. The new high speed rail service between Hyderabad-Vijayawada-Chennai (No.5) and Chennai - Bengaluru - Coimbatore - Ernakulam - Thiruvananthapuram (No.6) will cover a distance of 676 km and 1,060 km, respectively. The projects are part of the six high-speed corridors identified for implementation in India. Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Railway Corridor Location: Mumbai - Ahmedabad, India The proposed 534 km Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed link is part of the 650 km Pune- Mumbai-Ahmedabad line, one of the six high-speed corridors identified for implementation in India. Co-financed by Government of India and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) a detailed joint feasibility study is being carried out since September 2013. As the JV member, OC Global is providing technical, institutional and financial consultancy services. Trains on the new line will travel at speeds up to 350 km per hour.A section of the route between Ngoc Hoi and Vinh, a town in the central province of Nghe An, as well as a section between Thu Thiem and NhaTrang in the south-central province of KhanhHoa, are selected to be priority. As JV member, OC Global formulated a general development plan and detailed development programs for north priority sections. When in operation the new rail service will take only an hour and 15 minutes at a speed of 250 km per hour. The route corridor will pass Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Pattaya and Rayong, after which it may extend to Trat if feasible. Feasibility Study for High-Speed Rail link in Indonesia Location: Jakarta - Bandung - Surabaya, Indonesia Appointed by the Japan International Cooperation Agency, OC Global conducted feasibility study for the high-speed railway system in Java Island as a part of the Master Plan of Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia Economic Development. The study on the High Speed Railway route between the capital city of Jakarta and Surabaya via Bandung, approximately 730 km in length, consists of an examination of specifications by utilization of Shinkansen system. As a JV member, OC Global provided consultancy services on the project cost estimation.
