DCE Tornado High Performance Dust Collectors A self contained free standing range of dustcollectors developed, designed and manufacturedin house at our facility in Leeds, the DCE Tornadodust collector range covers a specific gap inthe market place for a high quality, cost effectivereverse jet cartridge dust collector.

Designed as a modular bolted constructed filterthe Tornado comes in several models, TornadoStandard and Tornado Excel which can beconfigured to handle large volumes of air. Smallerapplications can be handled by our latest additionto the Tornado family, the Tornado Mini.

The Tornado is produced using the latest hightech CNC Laser cutting & CNC folding machinesensuring a high quality product is delivered.Constructed from 5mm & 3mm thick prime mildsteel sheet, painted with a high quality Dupont®

powder coated finish and range of RAL colours tomeet each customers specific requirements.

A range of high efficiency rigid filter media typesare available Spun Bonded Polyester, Nano WebCellulose, Anti Static, PTFE & Nomex, having amedia to suit most dust types.

Dirty laden air enters the Tornado into a specificallydesigned multi baffle gas inlet hood whichcomprises of several staggered chamfered baffleplates designed to protect the cartridge mediafrom abrasion, create waste pre-separation anddistribute dust fines effectively across 100% ofthe filter media.

Cartridge filter elements are regenerated by theuse of a compressed air cleaning system injecting compressed air down each cartridge to dislodgethe build up of dust.

Using the latest compressed air CE certifiedAluTank® with built in emersion type diaphragmvalves ensures the correct compressed air volume& pressure is delivered on pulse cleaning.

Diaphragm pulse valves are all pre factory fittedand electronically linked using a Matrix® wiringloom designed as a “plug and go” system reducingon site wiring & manufacturing time.

Two types of pulse sequence controller areavailable a basic timer type and pulse on demandcompressed air saver type both including a digital“blue” back lit display screen providing simpleoperational data.

The complete filter range can be applied withor without fan ventilators and acoustic diffusersdesigned to handle your specific system requirements.

A range of fabricated hoppers are available our basic collector been complete with a 100Ltr waste binand optional equalizing system to allow plastic bin liners to be applied, raised steel supports to alloweither rotary valve, screw conveyors or double counter balanced discharge valves to be applied.
