www.motivaircorp.com The CDU creates a secondary isolated water loop and pumps this through the Chilled Doors ® to operate at maximum efficiency without any possibility of condensation in the data center. This is achieved by the use of a copper brazed stainless steel plate heat exchanger, which transfers the heat removed from the servers in the secondary loop to the primary building chilled water supply. The CDU automatically adjusts the coolant flow and temperature to provide 100% sensible cooling by maintaining the secondary loop temperature above the dew point of the data center. The redundant, dual pumps deliver a secondary loop flow with up to 65°F, which removes 270 kW of server heat in the Chilled Doors ® , while maintaining a data center space temperature of 75°F. Each pump is fitted with its own VFD to pro- vide the precise coolant flow required at any load. A motorized 3-way diverting valve instantly adjusts the heat exchanger cooling capacity based on cooling demand. Operation is completely automatic and the CDU requires no routine maintenance. Adjustable water temperature set point and alarm points are easily accessed via a secure 3-level HMI screen in the front face of the CDU. The Motivair ® PLC controls the entire CDU operation and provides remote control and communication via LON, BACnet or Modbus. The Motivair ® CDU is completely packaged in a high quality, powder coated, rack-type enclosure with casters and leveling feet. Motivair ® offers a 6-door and a 12-door underfloor header assembly for flex hose connections between the CDU and Chilled Doors ® . Various length quick- connect hydraulic hoses are available to suit any customer installation. The CDU creates a secondary isolated water loop and pumps this through the Chilled Doors® to operate at maximum efficiency without any possibility of condensation in the data center.

The redundant, dual pumps deliver a secondary loop flow with up to 65°F, which removes 270 kW of server heat in the Chilled Doors®, while maintaining a data center space temperature of 75°F. Each pump is fitted with its own VFD to pro-vide the precise coolant flow required at any load.

The Motivair® CDU is completely packaged in a high quality, powder coated, rack-type enclosure with casters and leveling feet. Motivair® offers a 6-door and a 12-door underfloor header assembly for flex hose connections between the CDU and Chilled Doors®. Various length quick- connect hydraulic hoses are available to suit any customer installation.
