My thoughts (Theo): This is so not happening to me! I am like some sort of a zombie right now, a zombie in need of a good brain to explain to me why such an ending!!! Why? Just: WHY? Now I dont even know how long I have to wait until the second book is out and I am already salivating at the thought of reading it!This book is AMAZING! And if you did not get it: do it!! It is one of those books that make your skin crawl, make your body to shiver and you mind to twist around facts that you never thoughts that would become true: paper or not! This book is that awesome and that cool!The characters:Emma Wise is a normal girl that just has been through an accident, an accident that ended badly. Really bad! Her parents are now dead and she is now officially belonging to no one. No living relatives that she is aware of, no people to turn to, absolutely no one, nada, zip, nothing!But right after her accident she just finds out that there is actually an aunt that she was not aware of, an aunt that lives in ALASKA! For crying out loud! Alaska? She is now disturbed by the fact that she has to move so far away, that she has to leave her only living creatures that loved her like they knew her forever: her best friends! Yet, somehow she is coping with the situation and managing to breathe and survive!His arrival is the breaking point, somehow, because now you skin is aching for a touch, your mind is in overdrive and you soul is almost in Heaven! Emma senses him right before he is entering the room, like all the oxygen is dried out of the room and he is the only lamp in the world and she is the fly. She feels so drawn to him and so ready to forget everything and let her be wrapped up in his arms. That good! Emma is so drawn to this mysterious stranger that she almost jumps in the plane with him without even asking for the proper identification. But that is just Kades effect on everyone apparently! Without the help of another sort of bodyguard: Emma and Kade leave for Alaska and meet the unknown! Life is so going to become harder!Emma does not know that she is more than a nephilim, more than an angel, she does not know anything! Her whole life starts to sound like some sort of a bad joke or a lame beginning, but she soon recovers since Darklings are already right behind her! Now is time to save, rescue, understand and watch everyone around you trying to save you! And when you find out that you truly have had been lied all your life everything becomes more clearer and you become even more engrossed with the one who makes your skin be set on fire only by watching you!This book is thrilling, unnerving, moving fast yet slow, making your nerves to be on high-ends only because you know something is not right, but somehow you manage to survive! You are Emma! You are her soul! You are going to meet your own end!I recommend this book to every single one of you, not only because it is inspiring, but because it is fun, yet serious, easy to read and beautiful to understand. 5 stars out of 5!Happy reading everyone~!
