Viking Party Games!Have a ball with Hiccup and his friends with
these fun party games!
Viking WhispersA variation of Chinese Whispers. Sit all the children in a circle and pick one tostart the Viking Whisper. They will whisper a word to the child next to themand so on, until it has gone all the way round the circle and the last childannounces what the Viking Whisper is.
Frozen DragonsIn this game, all of the children (except one or two) stand in a circle as if theyare frozen dragons. Once they are settled, they are not allowed to move. Theother two children walk around the circle and try to make the frozen dragonsmove by making them laugh, telling them jokes, and so on. The children arenot allowed to touch the dragons. Once the dragons have moved, they mustjoin the other children. The last dragon to remain frozen is the winner.
Hiccup SaysOne person stands at the front and becomes Hiccup. Hiccup gives instructions, but only those instructions preceded by ‘‘Hiccup Says’’ are to be followed. If someone fails to follow such an instruction or follows an instruction that is not preceded by ‘‘Hiccup Says” they must leave the game. The last personremaining in the game other than Hiccup is the winner and will become thenew Hiccup in the next game.
Pirate CapersThe children form teams of equal numbers and line up behind each other. Whenthe whistle blows the front person crawls between the rest of his team’s legsand takes their position at the back of the line. The new front team memberfollows suit and crawls through all the legs to the back of the line and so on.The first team to get all its players through is the winner.
