Anjali Anil

Hey!. I am Anjali Anil doing my B Tech degree at NIT Trichy, currently in my

second year of Civil engineering. I am from Kerala, but I live in Abu Dhabi

UAE. My first year flew by with a blink of an eye. The thought of moving out

of my shell into a new chapter of life, created a fear within. When I reached

college I realized I wasn’t alone. There were 800 plus students having the same

fears and thoughts- basically starting a new independent life. What made it

difficult was definitely the new place and its heat. It was only after my parents

left the campus and all the work was complete, did I feel like a lonely soul. It

didnt take us long to mingle and form friends for a life time. The month long

orientation was a unique experience with various activities, trips and movies

planned brilliantly for an overall development. Slowly we learned of various

clubs and activities in college and gave everything a chance and finally picked

what satisfied me the most. I am proudly an NCC cadet as well. So within the

first two months I was no more afraid. I started looking forward to each day.

Academics went smooth with several supportive faculty and their ever ready

attitude. Various fests showcased the infinite talents in college. The NITT

campus gives you sparks of innovations at every corner. The changes in just the

Hi..! I’m Shubham Patel. I am from a place called Bharuch in Gujarat and I am

a second year Chemical engineering student here in NITT. I know it’s a little

far from home but still it’s great to be here. It was quite difficult for me in the

beginning but luckily, there was someone helping and listening to me along the

way. This place has great hostels and the most amazing part is that you get to

make friends from all over India and sometimes also from other countries too.

There are some great places around here and you get taste of cultures, music,

politics and friendship from all over the country. I have interest in classical

Namrata Nayar

Hey, I am Namrata U. Nayar, a second year student of

Mechanical Engineering at NIT Trichy. Although my

roots are from Kerala, I have studied till my tenth grade

in Maharashtra. As a result, multilingualism comes

naturally to me, and apart from being fluent in Hindi and

English, I also understand Marathi, Malayalam and

Hi, I am Rajat Malhotra. I am a second year student pursuing Chemical

engineering at NIT Trichy. I was born and brought up in Delhi but did my final

years of schooling in Chennai. I am an outdoors person, I love to play all kinds

of sports and I am involved in a lot of extra-curricular and co-curricular

This is Akhila Avala, second year B-Tech student from Civil department. I am

from Andhra Pradesh, a pretty lively place. I completed my entire schooling in

AP and then I got an opportunity to pursue my bachelor’s degree from NITT.

Although I had my fears, I was all excited about this new place. This place is

very welcoming and so are the people here. The idea of one month long

orientation program is a brainchild of our Director, who is the man behind the

remarkable changes that took place in our college over the past three years. The

orientation played a crucial role in helping me connect to this place and the

people here as it gave me a platform to explore the campus and to make new

friends. As the program came to a grand end with the valediction function, the

academics commenced. The journey through the first year was more like an

Hi I am Jai Bansal. I am in second year Chemical engineering department. I am

Jaipur. It is nice to be in one of the finest colleges of the country. NIT TRICHY

is a national institute and there are students from all over the country. Also there

Hey! I am Jitheshraj and I am a Computer Science & Engineering student.

I have been in campus for a little over a year now, and it has been an awesome

experience to study in one of the best institutes in the country alongside some of
