LGV C+E Arctic Lorry (Class 1)Duration: 16 - 30 Hours This course is for those who require a class 1 LGV C+E licence in order to drive articulated or draw bar heavy goods vehicles, commonly known as HGV 1.

LGV C Rigid Lorry (Class 2)Duration: 16 - 30 Hours This course is for those who require a class 2 LGV C licence in order to drive rigid heavy goods vehicles, commonly known as HGV 2.

Course AimThe aim is to provide the theoretical and practical knowledge to drive Class 1 or 2 LGV / HGV trucks, and to qualify candidates for the LGV C or LGV C+E licence.

Upon CompletionOnce you’ve passed your driving test, the DVSA will send you an updated driver’s licence with the C or C+E entitlement. Before starting work as a professional driver for hire or reward, you’re required to undertake a Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) course, which is also available at Trailer Training UK centres.

AvailabilityTraining is available at all of our sites using our equipment or on your site using your facilities and equipment. Courses are available 6 days a week.

Facilities Required on Your SiteIf you’d like training to take place at your site, you must provide a training room suitable for the number of candidates and sufficient practical training space outside. Training will be conducted using our vehicles.
