FModels was created in 2008 by Mr. Luis Cruz and Mr. Ma-rio Anzualda after joined business as a co-owner. The founders of HFModels

have 30 years of combine experiences in Sales and creative operation local to their domestic community.

HFModels wants to be different and have found ways to get woman in the right direction to make their dream come true weather is to be models, actresses or music artist. We try to give models as much expo-sure as possible and create opportunity to be seen and help models find gigs that will give them an opportunity to becomesuccessful in what they dream for.

Finding our aim is to seek talent while simultaneously giving opportunities to women that have always dreamed of becoming models. We want to be the conduit between a potential career in modeling for those who aspire to be a model or for those who may be unaware of their modeling potential.

Our true focus is to be able to help women succeed in the fashion industry by getting their career in the right direc-tion. We are challenged and committed to encourage society to see models in a different perspective through our work and contributions.

St. Patrick’s Day festivities are coming up, or in some cases already underway, and it’s not too early to start planning for the weekend. For the most authentic experience, go green at one of the following spots where you’ll find fish and chips and shep-

herd’s pie aplenty.

* 1 Mrs Murphy and Sons Irish BistroBilled as “contemporary Irish cuisine” in the heart of North Center, Mrs. Murphy & Sons offers a modern take on the traditional fare. You’ll find dishes like a fisherman’s stew, Guinness and onion soup and baked cheese rarebit alongside a selection of craft brews and whiskeys. The large space has enough room to host private gatherings and the res-taurant is hosting the “17 Days of St. Patrick,” a celebration featuring a special menu of Irish foods, drinks, story-telling and cultural events.

Un artista a su tiempo; sobre todo singular: Fedro

Extrovertido, dinámico, elocuente y diferente, se mostró una vez más ante lascámaras de HFModels el músico mexicano Fedro. En exclusiva conversamos con él.

Apadrinado por la actriz, cantante y comediante mexi-cana Angélica Vales, Fedro recuerda sus inicios como la etapa decisiva de su carrera... Hace 15 años empecé a hacer teatro infantil y así me de-sarrollé en el teatro musical en México haciendo varios espectáculos, el más importante RENT, por darme mayor reconocimiento.

A pesar de no ser el ganador, otro paso decisivo para el artista fue en el 2009 el reality show Viva el Sueño de la cadena televisiva Univisión.

Este programa fue donde me di a conocer aquí en Estados Unidos, una oportunidad única. Fue muy bonito. Nunca imaginé vivir aquí, ni que mi éxito lo alcanzaría en este país al que amo y me ha abierto las puertas al público de todas las nacionalidades.

¿En qué te inspiras y cuál es el género musical de tu preferencia ?

Actualmente me encuentro haciendo una fusión de disco - electro. También balada acústica que es lo que más le ha llegado a mi público por las baladas corta venas que hago, pero definitivamente todas mis bases son en el rock. Aunque hay grandes exponentes como Alejandra Guzmán, Gloria Trevi entre otros, son muy pocos los que hacemos este tipo de música, es algo que nunca va a morir y por lo que debemos luchar.

¿Qué sientes que te distingue como persona y artista?

He tratado de ser como nadie, soy muy yo... Abrir brecha en el mercado latino era muy difícil para mi por la imagen andrógena que tengo pero lo han aceptado muy bien y creo que es lo que me distingue. También mi voz que es muy delgada y que puede parecer de una chica o un chico y eso ha gustado muchísimo.

Fedro y su familia hoy...

La familia es lo mejor, es la base de cualquier persona. Tengo. por fortuna unos padres increíbles, aunque al principio muchos saben mi historia que no aceptaban mi lado gay pero ahora lo aceptan muy bien, ha sido maravilloso saber que mis padres están ahí y la mayor lección que la vida me ha dado es que todos los seres humanos debemos mantenernos en contacto con la familia.

¿Cómo conectas tú vida personal al background musical?

Tiene sus complicaciones porque no tengo mucho tiem-

po y eso me ha traído a veces dificultades como no ver a mi familia durante meses o años. Tener una relación estable es muy complicado, lo he intentado algunas vec-es y no ha funcionado pero bueno es el precio que tengo que pagar como el artista que soy.

Una sexualidad al descubierto, sin miedos y tabúes...

Creo que he sido una persona que siempre ha llevado la bandera de la igualdad y la seguiré llevando muy en alto. He luchado por los derechos de las personas gays, no solo aquí en Estados Unidos sino en México donde hay tanto machismo. He hecho campañas contra la homofobia, el bowling, el cáncer, y la verdad que ojalá que con el tiempo y los años se logre la igualdad sin esos estigmas...

Para mi ser gay no ha sido un impedimento en el logro de mis objetivos profesionales, por el contrario. Creo que soy un ejemplo para las nuevas generaciones porque he sido una persona que abrió brecha para que otros seres humanos diferentes puedan materializar sus sueños, conseguir la aceptación del público y llegar a cumplir sus metas...

Tras bambalinas me comentó que estaba muy contento con su cambio de imagen.Borraste el lado oscuro y le diste un nuevo giro a tu car-rera musical. ¿A qué se debe esto?

Creo que ese lado gótico que yo tenía en el inicio de mi carrera pues ya tenía que evolucionarlo. Antes me maquillaba muchísimo, ya no lo hago, ya las personas saben quien soy. Ahora trato de dar una imagen más elegante, fresca, con un concepto diferente y todo esto gracias a Boris, mi asesor de imagen y diseñador, quien me ha ayudado a encontrar la verdadera imagen que yo quería proyectar. Es quien crea estos diseños espec-taculares con los que me visto, lo mismo un príncipe o un personaje épico... Espero que les guste mucho

Metas, retos, proyecciones futuras... ¿Existen impedi-mentos para lograrlo?

Obviamente no. Me considero fuerte, decidido, em-prendedor. Mi sueño es llevar mi música a otros países, hacer cine alguna vez, sobre todo con Pedro Almodóvar me encantaría...

En mayo estaré abriendo los conciertos de Natalia Jiménez en Puerto Rico. Voy a México próximamente, espero mi país me reciba como me han recibido aquí. Es mi primera gira promocional en la tierra que me vio nacer, por lo que estoy muy emocionado con eso.

Para mi lo más importante es el amor que siempre me da mi público. Gracias por aceptarme, apoyarme y taparse el ojo derecho... La música es mi pasión más grande.

1. Which began first, your passion for modeling or your love for acting, and how did you transcend from one to another? My passion for modeling came before my passion for acting. Ever since I was a little girl, seeing those models presenting themselves as leaders, and seeing how beautiful they looked in pictures, truly amazed me. Also, seeing America’s top model as a child inspired me greatly. And watching television shows and seeing how those actors performed made me somewhat interested to have an acting career.2.How do you prepare yourself for modeling in-terview ? For a modeling interview, I first prepare myself by looking presentable. My motto is dress to impress. During interviews, I also get very nervous so I perform breathing exercises to calm myself down.

3.What is your career goal? My career goal is to go to medical school. Modeling and acting is something that I would like to keep working to-wards, and I believe they will help me achieve my future life goals.4.Any future projects in the works?Right now, I’m working on something with Analia Photography, but I am ready for any other projects and to go out on the runway some time soon.5.How was your experience in your first photo shoot?My first photoshoot was extremely nerve-wracking. I had absolutely no experience with modeling or posing for pictures. Above all, it was one of my most exciting experiences ever. I had loads of fun taking pictures with Analia Photography. She did an amazing job. 6.DO you see your self as an actress and what role do you see yourself fitting into what type of genre better than anything else? Drama,

Romance,Comedy, Horror, or Suspense?If I was to be an actress, I would go into the Comedy genre because I have always been kind of a joker and I did pull some theatric pranks as a child.7.Do you consider yourself an adventurer seeker orhigh risk taker? I consider myself as an adventure seeker. I always like to try new things and have new experiences.8.Who do you look up to in the entertainment field,someone that you highly respect, admire and why?I admire Heidi Klum because she is a brilliant, confident, and determined person. She has achieved many great things and now she is known all over the world. I wish I could be like her someday. 9.What is the key to spotless and glamorousconfidence when you are in front of the camera? I think the key to confidence is believing that you can do anything you set your mind to. And confi-dence is the key to do anything you want in life. 10.How is a day in the life of Arianna Leon? A day in the life of a model is a lot of hard work and commitment. You have to be very dedicated and determined. Everyday I wake up and eat breakfast. Breakfast is a very important meal. I try to stay very healthy to keep my body shape, and I exercise on a daily basis. I also go to sleep early the night before the photo shoot to reduce the dark circles under my eyes and to not look too tired the next day. Makeup and hair take a very long time. So what I do, to use my time wisely, is homework or study for a test. Photo shoots can go on for a long time, sometimes even the whole day. So i stay hydrated and eat when I’m hungry. When the photoshoot is over, I am usually exhausted. So I go home, take a nice hot shower, and rest. Being a model is a lot of hard work, but in the end, it is worth the reward.

ANGEL BRANESKY: Aspirante a MISS USA 2016

Aprovechando la ocasión de que Ángel Branesky viajó a Miami, HFModels Magazine cedió su lente y, en exclusiva, conversó con la modelo durante la sesión que le regalara Johnny Villaronga, el fotógrafo de las estrellas.

La modelo filipina de 27 años de edad, reside en St Petersburg, Tampa, Florida. Ostenta títulos como Miss Filipina 2012 y su más reciente Miss Miami Tropic 2014. Con su mirada agresiva y su look sensual, nos comentó sobre sus inicios en el mundode las pasarelas, su preparación para Miss USA 2016 y los retos y proyecciones que tiene para su vida futura.

¿Cómo ha sido tu preparación para Miss USA 2016?Tengo un entrenador que me ayuda a prepararme para este evento. Me enseña expresión pública, a caminar, las poses, posturas, el maquillaje adecuado para cada ocasión, los dife-rentes estilos que debo mantener y, sobre todo, a trabajar con distintas organizaciones benéficas, algo que me encanta por la contribución que tiene en todas las sociedades.

¿Tiene Angel alguna motivación especial para participar en este certamen? Mi familia, siempre han sido mi punto de partida para llegar hasta donde he llegado, la pasión por lo que hago y también Adriana Lima -la estelar modelo de Victoria Secret-: me encanta su trabajo.

¿Sientes algún temor para enfrentar la preparación de Miss Universo?He participado en cientos de desfiles de modas, creo que es algo que me ha ayudado a superarme constantemente y a no tener miedo para enfrentar toda la preparación que requiere este concurso. A pesar de que es muy difícil, es un reto en lo per-sonal, es la cúspide de mi carrera, pero lo asumo como mi mayor hobby porque estoy haciendo lo que me gusta: modelar.

Supone mucho estrés tanta preparación para los certámenes de belleza. ¿Cómo lo combinas con tu vida personal? Yo trabajo en el campo de la medicina, pero igual soy mediadora del nivel más alto de las salas de casino del Hard Rock Café en Tampa, por lo que tengo que mantener un balance entre los clientes y el casino y esto me ayuda a expresarme y contribuye en gran medida a mi preparación de cada día, sobre todo en el ámbito de la comunicación.

Para contrarrestar tanto trabajo, en mi tiempo libre suelo visitar uno de mis lugares favoritos: Disney World, donde rememoro mi niñez y junto a mi sobrina que quiero mucho disfrutamos la magia de ese lugar.

¿Qué es lo que más te distingue en la pasarela?Mi personalidad, la forma de caminar, pero lo que más me inspira y me hace sentir como una persona bella es modelar el trabajo de otras personas.

En mi familia hay pocas mujeres, muchos hombres, soy unamodelo como persona para todos ellos. A pesar de no ser nativa de USA, ¿qué implica representar a este país si calificaraspara el concurso? Siento orgullo. Cuando regresé a Filipinas, y vi la diferencia entre una nacionalidad y la otra eso me ayudó a descubrir las oportunidades que tenemos aquí para prosperar. Me siento bendecida de vivir en USA.

¿Qué significaría para ti ganar Miss Universo 2016?Estaría muy feliz. Miss Universo sería una oportunidad única en representar a todas las mujeres del mundo. Regresaría con la corona a casa y con el compromiso de trabajar duramente. Alcanzaría mi máximo sueño.
