HOW IT WORKS AND PERFORMS HEXIS® antimicrobial films are composed of a cast polymeric transparent PVC and contain bacteriostatic antimicrobial agents, integrated protection to fight against germs and bacteria. Pure Zone films are active against the following bacteria (in accordance with the ISO 22196 standard, or inhibition test of growth on agar):

The number of bacteria is reduced by 99%.

The antibacterial substance of the HEXIS® technology works on the protein of the bacteria by disturbing the cellular functions (inhibiting cell division). The bacteria die naturally because their reproduction is inhibited.

With antimicrobial films by HEXIS®, we can finally “imagine a world which you can touch”.

An ordinary disinfectant has an “instant” action on the germs present on tables in public areas, but as soon as someone puts their hand down, the table has once again been contaminated.

HEXIS® films provide preventive continuous protection against hand-borne bacterial proliferation as a complementary mechanism to current hygiene procedures. They adhere to all surfaces that are frequently touched or handled, which are real germ pits that are difficult to keep clean.

PRODUCT APPLICATION, EASY INSTALLATION For professions where the immobilization of a location (medical office, airport, shop or department store, etc.), or a vehicle (bus, train, subway, aircraft, etc.) are involved, is impossible or too costly HEXIS® and its team of accredited installers offer the solution.

Ultra-short application time: just a few hours for a medical consultancy or a nursery = no closing.No smells, no drying times.

EASY MAINTENANCE AND DURABILITY OF ANTIMICROBIAL FILMS

The films guarantee long-lasting protection which cannot be altered by washing (even by aggressive cleaners) or by wear, and prevent the spread of bacteria between cleaning and throughout the life of the product.

Thanks to its thickness it preserves its colour even under strong deformation. It is convenient and effortless to apply and remove. The HXL300WG2 is made of a 100µm latex film, coated with a grey pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. The adhesive is micro-structured for faster air egress and easier installation. This film is compatible with latex and solvent inkjet printing.

The PL300CG2 is a laminate made of a clear 30µm-latex transparent coated with a grey pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. This cold laminate is for use with the latex HXL300WG2 digital film.

What are the advantages of the latex films? These products reduce the impact on the environment thanks to their specific manufacturing process. HEXIS® consume less energy during the production of the components used for these products. Furthermore, less organic compounds made from mineral oil are consumed.

LAMINATES FOR FULL WRAPS / WALL COVERINGS

These laminates are intended for protecting digital print wraps. If used with the HX190WG2, HX100WG2 or V100WG2, they make 80 to 100µm-complex which is easier to apply and to remove than a non-laminated vinyl print.

LAMINATES FOR MICROPERFORATED FILMS

The PC50MICP2 cast laminate is intended for applications on car windows and curved shapes. The polyester liner avoids distortions and makes it optically clear. The PG836 is intended for flat glass windows on buildings. The PG3036UVB is intended for flat glass on buildings. Its specific design improves the UV resistance of the graphics.

These laminates protect your prints from graffiti and degradation while allowing easy cleaning.Refer to chart on page 75 for further specifications.

Do not forget to leave you prints to dry and outgas for a minimum of 24 hours before further handling (cutting, laminating, installing).

For laminates thinner than 80µm, HEXIS® recommend to not apply any tension or heat in the laminating machine.

Polyester laminating films are not designed to be deformed, application on flat surfaces only.

To laminate prints with UV-curing inks, we recommend the use of AGCR700 or VCR750.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT LAMINATE

PL300CG2 is a laminate consisting of a 30µm transparent latex coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. This cold laminate is for use with the latex film HXL300WG2.

What are the advantages of latex films? These products reduce the impact on the environment thanks to their highly specific manufacturing process. HEXIS® consume less energy while producing the components of these products. Furthermore, less organic compounds from oil are consumed.

PC500G2 is a laminate made of a clear 50µm PU film, coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive.This cold laminate is intended for the PVC-free film HX500WG2. It will protect prints and add a better mechanical protection against abrasion as compared to conventional PVC laminates.

CarProtect is a self-adhesive clear gloss or matt film specially developed for the protection of carbody work and headlights against common road traffic wear.Due to its excellent anti-shock properties, it protects the car body against the impact of stones, insects, car doors, washing brushes, etc.

CarProtect films are the ideal solution for vehicle fleets and can save costs on long-term car leasing contracts.

The film CARPRO150B was successfully tested by the independent SERCOVAM laboratory according to the standards defined by Renault® in its specification for “adhesive films for protecting body paint”. ROLL-UP DISPLAYS

ROLLECO is fitted with a metal casing and two tilting feet. The 2m mast is non-telescopic and is made up of 3 sections linked with elastic bands. The graphic is fixed with a clip at the top and an adhesive sliding kicker at the bottom. A safety pin locks or releases the roll-up mechanism. Please note that the graphic should be printed over the full height of 220cm of which 20cm are rolled up into the casing.This display is sold with a carrying bag.

WRAP COURSES.

It is highly recommended that participants take the Entry Level course before applying for any other wrapping course or certification.


Duration:3 days, as often as required

Programme:+ Introduction to the world of adhesive vinyl, how to choose a product based on its application, the types of adhesives, temperatures:+ Calculation of the vinyl needed to wrap a car+ Tools and accessories required+ Preparation of the vehicle: liquids to use+ Specific application techniques for HX190, HX20000, HX30000 and BODYFENCE (car body protection)+ Finishing touches and cuts+ How to design a full wrap and to calculate the material needed

This very comprehensive training course will give the trainees all the “tips” to learn how to optimise the handling of our adhesive films, to perform a full wrap. The trainer will answer any questions, demonstrate the practical techniques and will take into account the level of knowledge of each participant.

+ Practice (min. 2.5 days):On the first day, trainees will begin applying specific parts and learn the appropriate movements. The second day will be dedicated to practice with solid colours. On the third day, trainees will work in teams to perform a full wrap within a given time limit.

The knowledge and experience acquired in the first two days are essential for carrying out a complete full wrap, as the third day is devoted to practising the skills and knowledge assimilated in the course of the first two days of the course.

The goal on the third day is to finish a full wrap with a digital printed design. On the third day all participants will take a written test.
