There are 154 steps from the pedestal to the head of the

Statue.


The face of the Statue measures more than 8 feet tall.

The torch is covered with thin sheets of gold.

The seven rays on her crown represent the seven continents

The Statue of LibertyLiberty Island National Park is open every day for

visitors except for Christmas day.

A walk from the ground floor to the Statue’s crown is roughly equal to walking up a 22 story

building.

Around 3 million people visit the statue every year.
