FROM MY HEART TO YOURS Rev. Dr. Shane Kinnison Senior Pastor

"Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for his mercy endures forever." Psalm 136

n this Thanksgiving season, may our hearts and lives be directed toward the manifold blessings of God

toward us. May we remember that all of life is sacred and that each season of life is purposeful. Let our tongues and our souls say, "Thank You!" both to God and to others in our lives. Let gratitude be our attribute and our character trait by which we are known to other people.

In this Thanksgiving season, may we also remember and reflect on those who are no longer with us. There are loved ones and friends whom we miss especially in these holiday seasons. Their presence, their love and their loyalty are gone from us and we give thanks for who they are and what they mean to us. In this Thanksgiving season, let us be mindful and reflective of those whose lives have been taken from us as the result of destructive and devastating violence caused by people of ill-will and evil intent. For those who were victims of bloodshed or survivors of viciousness, may they not be forgotten from our prayers, our reflections, or our responses to make this world a better place. In this Thanksgiving season, may our prayers be and our work become a due diligence to bring about the peace of God in the earth where we have our dwelling and make our home.

2019 Brazil Mission Trip

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Pray for the trip and all those involved. We want the Lord to bless every aspect of this trip—from its planning stages to

the people who will accept Christ and possibly join the local church.

If you can go with us, please join us! We are anticipating great blessings as we go to Brazil and partner up with Primeira Igreja Batista of Aruja in order to share the word of God with students and teacher.

If you are not able to physically join us, help us by contrib-uting. All donations are welcomed as they will help us get closer to our goal. To donate is very easy. All you need to do is mark “Brazil Trip” on your donation envel-op and the funds will be set aside for that specific pur-pose.

May God continue to bless you and may He continue to bless our church as we share His word with the world around us.
