Transcript of Henry Whittemore Library - Framingham State University's 3rd Annual Literary Cake Decorating contest...
• In Honor of National Library Week, we had our third annual “Book-themed” cake decorating contest. All you had to do was bake a cake and decorate it to represent a scene or character from a favorite book, be it a beloved children’s book or your favorite adult book.
• This year we had three cakes entered into the contest• Anyone that came through the library judged the cakes, by putting a token in the box of the
cake they find to be the best. Judging ran from 9:30am-12:30pm.
• We had 180 people participate in the voting/judging of the cakes.
• Winners were announced, and we began cutting into these beautiful creations and shared them with anyone that came into the café. We had no cake left by the end of the day.
• It was a very successful event, and I think all who participated had a good time.
• Please consider participating next year for our 4th Annual Literary Cake Decorating Contest. We’re hoping to get even more Literary Cakes to choose from!
